Beeps before turns in Live Search?

I read in an old thread on ppcGeeks that Live Search will beep when turns are coming up, with GPS. I don't hear such beeps. Does anyone else know whether such a beep is supposed to occur? If so I'll have to figure out why my vx6800 isn't beeping.

yeah it beeps but there very faint to me...from my understanding theres also a way to make it voice response to turns...but im not sure on that either :o
