Perhaps you can reflash the ROM again and see if corrects
Read the Wiki and you´ll find very good information

You don't say which ROM you are using, but is it possible you are using the "Performance" app, and have the processor overclocked to 624Mhz? If so, your Dopod might not be able to cope with that speed, and so is rebooting occasionally?
