What went wrong? is my Wizard bricked?

I aquired recently a second wizard, and decided to upgrade-it.
it had a IPL 1.01 and SPL 1.01...so was a G3. i followed the faria's tutorial, "as i done 100 times with my other wizard"

First i backed up everithing with "WST_v4.2.2"
cidunlocked with lokiwiz
and started with the 2.26 upgrade, and failed a 99% and followed the recover procedure, and tried the recover, but it was allway stucked in splash screen, finaly i flashed in bootloader mode, and sucessfuly recover it, but then.
it had an:
IPL 1.01
SPL 1.01.0001 ?!?!?

so i decided to revert to initial rom...that i backedup.
and with the WST_v4.2.2 tried to restore with the backup, but when i rebooted...nothing happened...just black, and no leds...no battery charge, just a flash on the screen and butoons if i remove the batery, tried with a 100% batery charged, but is the same, so...

can someone tell me what went wrong?
is my Wizard dead?

It seems it has IPL G3
But spl G4!!!!!

Its kinda God damn dead... but does the 1.01 came from provider as the default?

Maybe you skip the step flash buttons rom or upgrade with a G4 ROM...

waiting for other opinions.

Its a mismatch, mixed Bootloaders,G3 & G4,how he got it,only he can explain ?

That's why the no id RUU skips the ID of Device, id for IMEI, ID for country... and ID for the IPL and SPL... maybe supporting the Prislav hardSPL for G3 can help us to never again see a wizard G3 bricked Like this...

same thing happend to me , but ipl g4 spl g3
after i ran imei unlocker
i got
IPL 2.21.0001
SPL 2.21

no g3 rom was ever near this device

no hangs no nothing ..100% completed
it comes out this this mismatched IPL / SPL

this is a theory based on nothing ...

when you hung .. i think something got placed in the ipl spl header location
masking or corrupting the IPL / or SPL areas dropping the .0001 from it

yours in the IPL mine in the SPL

lots of bricks out there ... and the phone is out of production
someone should be able to find a service stand or test stand somewhere
just a thought ... :eek:

Only possible repair for Wizard is in China, where they exchanges the Bad Flash chip with a repaired one.

Since the JTAG layout is still unknown, nobody can repair it simply by reflashing.
