Hi all -
I've got an 8525 WM6.1 that's been acting up for about a week now. It wouldn't charge on AC nor USB power; the indicator light would turn red for about five seconds and then shut off (and blink orange as long as it was connected). Turning it on would result in about thirty seconds of use, then the phone turning off. I thought it was the battery, so I got a spare. No change. Tried a hard reset, no change. Bought a cradle + spare battery charger, and so far no change; even charging the battery in the spare slot and putting it in the phone doesn't change the behavior. Any suggestions?
I'm tempted to switch to an 8925 (I like the phone, just having this issue...) and am wondering if the batteries and/or cradles are compatible. It'd be slightly annoying to lose the forty bucks I've spent on trying to fix this phone. Looking at them on amazon, the mini-usb connector seems to be in the same place on both.
