View Full Version : KAIS 100 question ??!!

Dear all,
thank you alot for your help but i have a question i am reading the wiki and the threads here but i can't find answer yet :(
the question is that i have a Kais 100 tytn II
and i want to flash a new cooked ROM , when i pressed the camera button with the soft reset i found this Info:
KAIS 100
SPL-3.29.0000
CPLD-8

am using WM 6.1
ROM version : 3.29.422.1 WWE
Radio version: 1.65.20.29

so now should i install any hard SPL or i can now Flash my cooked ROM ??

and how can i backup my contacts??

what is the steps to install new cooked ROM

Thanks alot in advance sorry for being dummy but this is my first time to hold HTC windows mobile phone

Hi,
You still need a Hard SPL. The SPL you have is 3.29 but is the OEM version.
Download and Flash a 3.* HardSPL from the Sticky thread.

Backing up contacts can be done over active sync or using PIMBackup.
