Hi, Just bought a Dash on eBay that was supposed to have a broken LCD and other than that flaw, be a normal phone that works. I am currently awaiting the new LCD to get here in the mail.
Here's the problem:
It has a portion of the LCD that is viewable enough to see that it was getting stuck on the T-Mobile Splash Screen. .....
I did some research on this forum and it appeared that a "hard reset" was going to be in order. Did the two soft keys/power on method and got it to enter the hard reset mode. It appeared to start doing it's thing and got to 2% on the configuring device screen and it completly stoped...I would say it stayed on that screen for 20 minutes or so. I pulled the battery, and it will not come on at all now. Am I screwed?
This is a little bit frustrating because the seller clearly lied to me about the condition of the phone, and now it's almost like I can't even return it to him/her because it will not come on at all now.
Any help would be great...I think I bought a paper weight!
