It appears that I cannot get my TomTom6 to run on this ROM. Never had any problems with yours before or any others. After install when I try to run it to finish setup screen just goes black, does nothing. If i tap the screen it will close it and go back to programs... Any ideas??

Thanks for the heads up. I had the same exact problem with Garmins new v4 and v4.1 manilla rom. At first I thought it was a manilla thing, but TomTom 6 on HDIII manilla roms works fine. I hope someone can find a fix or work around as I hate to have to upgrade inorder to run these roms.

If your talking about the "All Programs" softkey, you probably just need to add folderview.exe to the windows folder.

Here is a cab that will do just that.

Manila 2D is still beta and there are a few bugs for the crew working on it to sort out but that will come with time. Glad you like the rom!
I have sorted a couple of minor issues and will release a 4.1 hopefully this evening so check back.

Mbarvian just posted the cabs and oem packages, I know the oem packages are needed but do not know the first thing about cooking so I dont know how big of a challenge such a thing would be....

Other than that this new ROM is really excellent. I love that you have added mostly everything that I actually use, it only takes me a few minutes to load and be ready to go. Thanks alot for your hard work.

Wanted to try something new and I like this one. I'm not sure if it's me or the rom, but there's a 2-5 second lag during the screen rotation (portrait to landscape). Also with the google maps, it's version 2.0.1.37, I think the latest version is 2.2.0.19 (but that can be resolved with just installing the latest google maps. Other than that, I think it's a good rom. I've only been playing with it for a few minutes.

I'll have a look, i stuck with the same dialer as my previous roms as it has video and voice call if opal has this i'll cook in.

This is due to improper D3D drivers, the drivers only work in portrait, so i'm only guessing this is the reason for the lags. If i had a spare kaiser i would run more tests but at the mo, cant, so i apologise. Thanks to everyone for their support with Yardie ROMs.

Hi Yardie, just downloading your latest version to try out, had the HD III on but was losing the plot with being unable to get the weather to work..do you know if its possible to get Jersey on the weather, as even after editing the xml it wont bring the info up, but will for any other cities that are on.. and does your version have the slide to answer setting, and if so is it possible to remove?

Haven't tried to change the ribbon order, not an issue for me. TT6 doesn't work with Manila unfortunately TT7 however does.....Blame our friends at HTC for this!!!!

You can change the order by editing the HTCHomesettings.xml or an easier way to do it is use the Manila 2D Customizer (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427392).

Didnt make me angry, the best way to test a rom is flash it and have a play!!!
I would recommend 3.56 hard spl, it has been stable for all my roms.

something which could be seen as a bug could be that if you actually turn of the device running V4.2 it will give the normal notification like; power will be turned off etc. and the led will stop blinking. But when you power up the device again it doesn't boot but just resume just where it was when it was shut down.

I noticed in landscape mode with the keyboard out, the background does not fit the screen for me. About 3/4 inch is blank on the right side. I also hope the lag time from portrait to landscape gets fixed, about 7 seconds for me.
I also have a noob question, in my last post you told me to delete the GPRS settings and reinstall when ready, but I don't know how to do that. I Love this ROM thanks for the great work.

Random recomendation, slightly alter the proxy connection or something (like add an x at the end), that way its easier to recover them when you want them. I do that when traveling internationally to force my data connection to be inactive and avoid usage charges.

I'm about to install 4.3 Final and try it out but I was curious if there was any reason you choose 19212 instead of 19214, which was the official AT&T release? I'm not saying its better since I haven't tried it out (I've stuck with Yardie 2.1.500 Final as its been very solid and stable) I'm just curious as one would think it'd be better than the pre-releases from AT&T?

Same with 4.3a version, unable to switch the device off with powerbutton.

I'm about to install 4.3 Final and try it out but I was curious if there was any reason you choose 19212 instead of 19214, which was the official AT&T release? I'm not saying its better since I haven't tried it out (I've stuck with Yardie 2.1.500 Final as its been very solid and stable) I'm just curious as one would think it'd be better than the pre-releases from AT&T?

19214 was for AT&T, 19212 Was HTC SEA release, stuck with the SEA release as it had more of the software i wanted on it and saved me from messing about with keyboard fixes. All the Yardie 2 ROMs were build on the 19212 build also!

Same with 4.3a version, unable to switch the device off with powerbutton.
Any fix to this?

Will look into it when i get time, but i can't say it bothers me massively as i never turn my phone off!

Random recomendation, slightly alter the proxy connection or something (like add an x at the end), that way its easier to recover them when you want them. I do that when traveling internationally to force my data connection to be inactive and avoid usage charges.
Just FYI, I found that I could dissable with a simple check box. Go into settings/connections/connections/t-Mobile Data (my Provider) /setup proxy and uncheck "This network connects to the Internet".

I found that the Fn key Symbols do not match the keys on the slide out keyboard. I know I've seen information about keyboard patches. Do I need to install a patch for this myself?

I absolutely love this rom.... it is so user friendly. However the only question I have is this.

Is there anyway to change the analog clock to a digital displayed clock.

I work outside and out in the sun, the screen is already difficult to see with the bright sun and reflection and with all of that the hands on the clock are almost impossible to see.

I personally would prefer a digital readout. I really liked the HTC home clock display after a couple tweaks.

Go to kaiser wiki, link at the top of the page and read section on rom upgrading. just remember to flash hard spl first so not to brick your phone, instructions for this also on wiki.

i guess you could install another manila2d cab that has the clock you want and then use my background assigned through the settings tab, but no other way in my version, have a go and let me know how it goes!

.rar is a zip type file. Google ".rar" and you will get a phone book on programs that work with .rar files.

Use winrar to open, just google it thousands of downloads out there, its a standard windows program.

Cheers bruv, i've been having problems with the UC, seems to try and run b4 customization which cancels it, had a chat with mbarvian an he's having the same problem, couple more issues i'm trying to fix, to do with the power button but no joy yet. will be releasing 4.5 tonight...this will have a couple of improvements including new camera and weather fix. will post details on this thread. meanwhile if anyone has any ideas about uc...... then shout out!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I had the same exact problem with Garmins new v4 and v4.1 manilla rom. At first I thought it was a manilla thing, but TomTom 6 on HDIII manilla roms works fine. I hope someone can find a fix or work around as I hate to have to upgrade inorder to run these roms.

Plenty of TT6 cabs out there already but useless with manila roms! Only TT7 will work with manila 2d. Personally i would recommend iGo 8, but don't ask for where to download......buy it!!!!!

I have installed VOIP and i tried to confiure but i could becasue whenever try to run sip config always erroring out. but i can run same voip software in any ROM.

and even i cannot bring voip status in touch flow menu. it will be always hided.

Is anyone else having problems getting slingplayer and core player to open.
The screen just flashes and then nothing checked task manager to see if its running in the background and nothing.
Other than that love the rom any words of wisdom would be much appreciated.

Search for tomtom ver 6.032 cab file. It worked with manilla for me. It found my maps and everything no problem.

Im fairly new at this flashing stuff, and i have a bit of a problem with a few things.

1. U mentioned that the FN on the hardkeyboard for the AT&T tilt needed a patch, can you point me to it, i tried installing a few but was not successful.
2. There's a post around here about the windows Media player not playing Videos, this is another one of my problems. I recorded a few vids with the phone not so long ago, and i was playing them with the Dutty's Version before flashing, they play on the album viewer from the touch-flo menu, but not when clicked on by the File explorer.
3. The Screen Lag seems to be a small problem for me, also.
4. the soft reset button acts like it's going to reset, but it doesn't, it just turns off the screen:eek:
5. Google Maps takes a while to find the GPS, and i've updated the file qith Quick GPS a few times already.
6. Is there a way to Organize the touch-flo buttons at the bottom?
7. The original Keyboard never comes up. I used it alot when USING CERDISP to control the phone from the computer, but the keyboard doesn't really match, so it's a mess.

It's quite easy to use, just install it from ur PC, and it runs a server in the Phone, and while conected to ACTIVE SYNC, it uses i think the TCP connection to display in ur Computer a screen like ur phone and u can click on it with the mouse and use the keyboard to write stuff instead of writing it with the Stylus or the Hard KeyBoard of the Phone.

I not only can't use the keyboard with that software, i can't use the original keyboard at ALL neither the other Keyboard options. this is freaking weird.. lol

If you have troubles viewing the desktop clocks, I have made a small image for the desktop to make it better distinctive. If you have interest I will enhance it and fit the clock better with a better design..

Hey Yardie, great rom!!!! I'm sort of a noob in all this, so bear with me if this has been asked before. But some of the programs I had before will not work for this, such as OzPocket IM from t-mobile. I would use skype, but personally the Oz Ap looks and acts far better! Any way I can make this work, or is there a fix? Thanks again for the great rom!
