View Full Version : 16gb Micro SDHC + Polaris Camera

Does anybody else have a problem with the camera not showing enough capacity from a 16gb card. My 8gb card showed 5760 shots available at 3mp the new 16gb card I just received shows only 4736. That's with other storage being used on the card of course.

Does anybody have a 16gb card yet?

Any help or tips gratefully received.

Just tried mine witha clean 16GB card and it shows 6693 shots available.

Thanks for that Lord. I don't know the storage stats for photo's exactly but don't think that sounds enough .My old 8gb card now shows 6210 available @ 3mp with about 3gb left. It's not a big problem just annoying.

Maybe it`s max number it can display(count), did you try to take some picture and check if it still showing the same number of left shots

i bet it's only coded to dispay four digits, the real number is probably something like 216,120 or something.
