Need help.

Hi all ive got a Orange SPV M3100. I downloaded "HER_VODA_1201616_1030600_UK_SHIP". When its boots up it gose as far as windows mobile screen and freezes anyone know i can reset it back to my orange software so i can use it again?

What SPL do you have. If it hasn't been Hard SPLed (SPL : 2.10 olipro) before you started flashing you have a BIG problem and a LOT of hair pulling frustration ahead....

When its in bootloader it says HERM100 IRP-1.00 and HERM100 SPL-1.09

Does it say 1.09 Des?

If so this is soft spl (SSPL). You should be able to put the .nbh file of the os you want to flash on an sd card formatted fat32. Rename it to "hermimg.nbh" and put it in the Hermes. Reset to bootloader - hold power, ok button above flywheel and reset with stylus. If it is SSPL then it should recognise the flash files on the sd card and ask you to hit the power button to continue. Before doing this try a hard reset - Both softkeys held down and reset with stylus. Hold all buttons in until it asks if you want to reset the os back to factory. Push r on the slide out keyboard then press space. If that doesn't work.....

SD card method...

1. Format sd card fat32. copy the .nbh file of the rom you want onto it. Rename it to Hermimg.nbh.
2. Isert sd card back into hermes. Reset into bootloader - hold power button, OK button above flywheel and reset with stylus. Hold in until tri-colour (bootloader) screen appears.
3. If its ACTUALLY registering sspl then it SHOULD register the flash file. Follow the prompts...

This will ONLY work if you have Hard SPL installed or doing it more dangerously with Soft SPL (sspl - 1.09 des).

ok im confused about the last step u said how am i spose to get the file on the card if ive not got a card reader ? and is there a step by step online i can have? so i know how its done?

Get a card reader, you can pick them up CHEAP.... Also make sure the sd cad is less than 2Gb.
All instructions above Are from on online, I just put them in step form...
