Help! My 'mail' key is not working, anyother way to hard reset?

Please could anyone help. My O2 XDA IIs "Mail" key is not working, anyother way to do a hard reset because I want to upgrade from WM2003SE to WM6. Or does it real need a hard reset when upgrade?

use psshutxp and hold the upper right corner of the application for hard reset. google it easy to find.

thanks, can it preform the below:

reset registry and format built-in storage

“Enable KITL” must be NO
“Clean Registry Hive” must be YES
“Format Storage” must be YES
exit - "mail" button

yes. it will not take u to 4 color screen but will do it.

This is the only way to solve this issue. Yes its a BUG.
The Password is no longer stored correcly when you loose your battery.

Thanks to you all. I finally got it repaired and I now have the WM6.
