HP614c - WM6.1 - SDHC

I've been an happy user of the russian port of Windows Mobile 6.1 to my HP 614c.

Now today i've bought an MicroSD 8GB from SanDisk (SDHC) and i can't get my hp to recognize it...

What am i doing wrong? :o

the HP 614C is not a SDHC device. I made the same mistake

On my 614c with Russian WM61 v1.4 I do use SanDisk 8GB SDHC card without any problems.
I also heard from different forums people has also similar problem as yours with different types of cards - I don't know what is the reason, but according to user manual 614c is SDHC capable.

I've found out that it doesn't matter what i use...
It doesn't works with WM 6.0 and either with 6.1 from Yevg001...

Pretty lame...

the belgium (nl) version IS sdhc compatible... :mad:

The original 614c UK (from PDAshop) IS compatible with SDHC... I've got a 4 GB SanDisk in it.

Try with a Kingston 8Gb sdhc

I ditched all of my Kingstons cos they didn't work in the 614c

First I try to install SDHC cab (My ipaq 614c does not recognize the SanDisk 8GB micro SDHC class 4 card) and then there was problem with wifi and ipaq 614c cannot start up, so I have to do a hard reset.
Now I bought a new Kingston 8GB micro SDHC class 4 and it works perfect.... :)

my uk version is full sdhc compatible . I using 8gb sdhc card on my uk version 614c

I use a 16 Gb microSDHC on 614c and it works well most of time.

The only isue I have is sometimes, when the device softreset it self, it doesn't recognize the card à the wake-up. the only way I discovered to make it recognize the card again is to take out the batterry then soft reset again.

I have no idea why it doesn't work with a "normal" softresest but that how it works with mine.

So i download "SDHC 8GB TESTED DRIVER FOR MIO 350-550" and the phone stuck at the green screen of windows mobile 6.1.
Is there any help about this issue? or have to format again the device?

My 614c works with 16 gb sandisk card (SDSDQ-016G-E11M)
ROM upgrade from Yevg001 20270_rev1.2fix_standart

PS There was 2 times when the card doesn't recognized.
First I made the clean boot, second I had to reinsert this card
Also the speed is awesome

the phone stuck because of wifi problem. so you have to do a hard reset or reflash device..

Yesterday I changed ROM to 21815 Beta 12 Black Diamond Edition by Aavatar.
After that my phone also works with the card.
