Hi ALL,
Here is a 100% workable GSensor Calibrator for Diamond. That's mean you can save the calibrator record until you reset the device.
Havy fun! :)
p.s.
Min. Request the ROM ver should be 1.93 or latest
*** Some people report this APP can't not work for their Diamond. But I think they didn't make a softreset after install... And a funny things is they post another GSensor Calibrator and said this work for them. But the APP is just some as my post... That's funny :)

Does not work for me. Device pretends to calibrate, but after calibration it's the same than before. I'm using original German 1.93.407.1 Rom.

Same here, starts calibrating, then says calibration completed and the 'bubbles' jump right back to where they were before calibration.

What ROM are you using and did it calibrate previously, that is callibrate, then save the callibration?

Hi PJ6363,
As my first post said your ROM ver should be 1.93 or latest. And you MUST softrest your Diamond after install the GSensor Calibrator.
After restart your Diamond you can go to Setting and find out the GSensor Calibrator.
You just put the Diamond on Table / Floor (You think is level) and then click the Calibrator Button. Then Done. :)

OK, I found something as below:
Duttys has release his own version of Calibrator: Duttys Accelerometer Calibrator.cab
So if you want to keep useing Dutty's ROM you should goto his Web site to download the correct CAB. (http://duttythroy.net/)
On the other hands, If a cooker has release their own addon means maybe they have modify something. That's why the original "Diamond_GSensorCalibrator.cab" from hTC cann't work for you.
p.s.
ROMs depend on cooker, I'm useing SwiftBL WWE Diamond v6.5 Full w/(16Mb Pagepool) also can work with the original "Diamond_GSensorCalibrator.cab" from hTC. Just for your ref. :)

i'm using the calibrator downloaded from HTC and up untill now i've had the exact same problem, reading this post though i though "hey, why not give it one more shot?" and it actually WORKED!! i have no idea why though. i've been trying out some fancy apps the last days so i dont know wich install could have forced it to actually remember the new setting this time but my most likely guess would be .NET CF 3.5, avalible at microsoft.com (somewhere in their jungle. try it! :)

Well this initially was not working for me...but I now can make it work, albeit won't save the settings after a oft reset!
What I am doing is starting the calibration program and then calibrate a couple of times.....no callibration :(
....so I then minimise the program and leave it on in the background for >30mins. During this period I use the device as normal (turn on, turn off, make calls, whatever...)
After about 30 mins go back to the Callibration program (still on in the background) and try a callibration, and it callibrates :)
Soft reset of course returns it back to out of callibration, but hey, it now at least works for a bit!!
Intend to update my ROM to SwiftB 7.5 this weekend, see if that makes the callibration stick post soft-reset!!
Hope this helps

Must say that after I donīt know how many attempts n many soft resets I was showing to my friend how it could not be calibrated and suddenly it saved its settings:eek: And works good for now:) after each reset it should be done again;)

Would like this to work AFTER a SR though...I mean whats the point of callibrating if its out after every SR
......if I had to callibrate the steering in my car after every time I went for a drive/turned the engine off, well, I think I'd be a bit DARK

I see there are a lot of threads with the g-sensor calibration problem, i myself have been looking for a solution for months, up until the point that i almost gave up.
Finally i found the solution in one of the threads on this forum.
It was another version of the g-sensor calibrator (i tried 4 different ones now, each one of them has a different filesize, and almost every rom i could find) and this one actually worked. It did the calibration in one (!) effort. It stays calibrated after reboot and i am able to calibrate it again.
I posted a link to the working file HERE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2810795&postcount=211).
