View Full Version : Phone wont let me access "Accessibility" in settings.(6.1)

Yesterday I tried to access accessibility in the settings folder and it says
"ERROR THE SETTINGS COULD NOT BE OPENED". Any ideas?

hi open resco registry editer

go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System------>\SettingsApp\ <--- and delete this key hope it helps

i got a folder called settingsApp. should I delete the whole folder?

Yes you can, but store it in another place if you can do that... just in case...

This isnt working for me I deleted the settingsApp folder rebooted the phone and still can't access accessibility. I know its smartool kit that causes this. This solution fixed the problem last time it did this but not this time. Anyone ideas would b e very welcomed. Thanks!

You cant just delete the folder, you need to delete the reg entry as well.

I went into registry editor and deleted the settingsApp folder there is a bunch of reg entries in the folder and I followed what everyone said above. Am I missing something or misreading?

No that should have worked. One of the reasons I dont use smart tool kit, too many problems.
