you should search the threads as this has been discussed a hundred times and they don`t like you asking the same question on lots of threads ;), however the answer is that the background can only be changed by changing the wallpaper in the settings tab. the downloaded theme will either have a wallpaper file to use or use your own favourites.

I know it's such a pain to see again and again the same questions in forums... However I didn't see this question before (only in a thread that didn't give solution)... Maybe it's also because I don't speak (and read) english very well !!!

Hi everybody
I haven't seen solutions for my problem in precedent threads so :

I can't make appear the image of the new themes I install... always the classic today screen from HTC ROM (HTC Black :mad:)
I can install new themes with TF3DConfig (the clock and icons are new) but the background of today screen always stays the same !

What can I do ??

Please do not install a Theme on a 1.93 ROM!

Please do not install a Theme on a 1.93 ROM!

I saw this advise !
I also saw that this tool can be used with every official Roms... so why not with this one ??? is it only a "legal" problem or is it because the tool doesn't really works with this rom ??:o:o

For an answer you will have to ask the programmer who started that thread.

That is no longer an issue. There are many 1.93 rom users who have succesfully installed themes using the config tool. The warning only applies to a few custom made roms.
