Hotmail doesn't allow POP3 access so the only way you can access it is through a web browser. The solution to that is to get a less shit email service, Gmail for example allows POP3 access so could be set up to work through your phone.

if you dont already have the windows live apllication on your device, locate the cab in the diamond forum once installed and you hotmail add etc entered go to menu, options sync schedule and under sync frequency select "as items arrive". this will have you mail pused automatically to your device.
