Hi,
following the thread in General discussion > Development and Hacking
Samsung Omnia Goodies (Application & Driver), I saw that the Media Album and SM Player of the omnia were extracted and run on some device.
After viewing the photoalbum of it on youtube, amazing, I thought about our devices and a specific thread here. So, I've dowloaded the files attached here and tried them.
About the media player, for the installation, just copy copy the folder in a directory of your device, then run ContentsManager.exe : Done...
It crashed the first and second times I've tried and was almost perfect on the third. This is a kind of media explorer including a very fast photo album, music, video and so on. In exploration mode, the slide is not working (?). In viewing mode, it's working rather well : for image, very fast when sliding and the zoom effect is amazing, for vidéos, it open the media player when selected...
So, maybe with some tricks it could be fully workable on our device.
About the SM Player, I've also installed it on my Diamond. It does not fit our screen but the video and audio work on my device. Maybe this could be improved too. Installation is easy as it has been already cabbed.
