Hi Surur, please link to my site in the post so people know where to get the SDK. ;)
IN ADDITION:
I have updated the Managed GSensor SDK I wrote a while ago to support the Samsung Omnia GSensor. If you have applications that are written to use the Diamond GSensor, please download the new version of the SDK, make some small changes, and recompile. And you'll be able to deliver your applications to all the Samsung Omnia users!
More information and SDK at my site:

It is not a zip file but a cab file to be executed on the Diamond or Touch Pro. You just need copy the file onto anywhere of your device via Activesync and run that cab file and you will be prompted for installation. Hope you enjoy this software.

ahh thank you so much..maybe you can advice me what themes to chose..also what is meant by soft reset?
also i heard that the themes should have some program installed first and they usually do not work on the 1.93 ROM version??

It is off this topic. Anyway I use the default HTC theme. Sometimes you need to soft reset your phone such as after some software installation in order to complete those installation. There is a red color tab inside the stylus hole of your Diamond (if you have it) or you refer your phone menu for the soft reset button. This PocketShield does not need to soft reset after installation but some listed scenario (as mentioned in the known issue of the website) that you need to soft reset your phone.

What about a DX-BALL clone game?
http://www.ldagames.com/dxball2/
I think it should be quite easy to make, because theres allready DX clones on the WM platform, but they just need the G sensor imput.
If someone will make a DX-Ball clone with G sensor imput, i would gladly be a beta tester(I have a Touch Pro).

I'm currently working on a driver that reads the GPS data and outputs it on a virtual COM port.
The interesting part is that when the GPS fixation is lost, the driver continues generating NMEA data using the G-Sensor for inertial navigation.
State of the project:
The driver itself is finished and tested. But currently only outputs GPS real data. I'm doing the inertial navigation testing on a separate program that currently shows the GPS speed and heading, and touching a big button "loses" the GPS and starts inertial navigation. Then I can log and compare real and calculated speed and heading and see how they mach.
I've finished the maths for inertial 2D navigation. Using 2D is mandatory because the Diamond lacks a Gyroscope, and althought I have thought on some tricks to implement a "slow 3D" correction using the third accelerometer axis it will be left for a future versio.
How it works: Bad :( Speed is maintained in a +-20% of the real value during at least 500m no matter if I accelerate or brake if I don't stop totally. Heading has more problems, but being the maths just finished I plan to generate a GPS log in a nearby parking and then I'll can adjust the program without the need of a car.
Planning: I plan to adjust as much as possible the test program and when it works at least enought for a public test, I'll put the algorithm on the driver and release the first beta.
HyperGPS has more features planned, like interfacing with the FM radio Dlls and get TMC traffic data...

Many people have suggested this, and its very good to see some-one try it on. May I suggest some form on auto-calibration, where historical data from where both the GPS and accelerometer are working is used to fine-tune the model until the GPS is no longer present?

Surur
I tried autocalibration but as acelerations and turns are small in the car, the data was not accurate. Then I realized that as long as the calibrate panel applet from HTC calibrates the g-sensor as 1000=9.8m/s2 It was not necessary.
The device needs to be fixed to the car and the driver detects automatically the initial position. Even detects changes in the position and updates automatically the maths. And I only work with deltas, not absolute values. Once converted the accelerometer data to nautical miles/second^2 and using intervals of one second, 52.4*acceleromerer unit=nautical miles. Easy.

While looking for one i thought of a great idea for using the gsensor in blackjack... when u want to stay, you just move your phone from side to side like you would to motion "stay" at a blackjack table... likewise, when you want to hit, you could just pretend like you're tapping the table with your phone. Wish there was something liek this, but i'd be happy with just a nice, finger friendly blackjack game as well.

Now if only the lightsaber program were identical to the one found for the iPhone. This one makes a pre-determined sound based on the numbers you input, whereas the iPhone version makes the sound based upon the specific movement of the phone and it "whirs" more loudly the faster you wave the phone.

* Stylus sensor
Yet another (un)locking program for the Touch Diamond and Touch Pro.

There was an app for HTC Diamond that switched the profile of the phone if the phone was laying on the table for more than a minute. Once the phone is picked up, the profile changes.
I remember seeing such an app, but can't find it anywhere. Does it exist, or am I hallucinating?

I have not installed that app, but look under \windows\startup. You may be able to find and delete the shortcut there, which would prevent the app from starting on soft reset.

Had a daft idea for a sentence maker/shaker, just a gimmick, but you would have a basic set of grammatical rules, words would be pulled at random from the ms dictionary and shaken to form ridiculous sentences, you would then have the option to save the sentence and then to shake all your stored sentences into a crazy poem thing, or just to text mates and confuse them!:D
My old snowstorm idea would be nice too for xmas!:)

Hi i had an idea for a program using the g sensor but unfortunatly i have no skills in making programs. I wanted to see if this already exsists or if if would be easy for someone to make.
My idea is for what i would call a air drummer or something to that affect. Would it be possible to set sounds to be triggered by g sensor movements for example swing the phone down for a high hat and then left for a snare sound etc. Something very similar to my idea was made for use with a wii remote if that helps at all.
Please let me know if anyone would be intrested in making something like this or if it is even possible thanks for your time.

So how many people have played Papi-jump on the iPhone? it's a very simple app, with random platforms and a ball that bounces.
You tilt your diamond/raphael/blackstone to move the ball and land on the next platform, the higher you get the higher your score.
If you totally have no idea what Papi Jump is click HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcwKoz2YUPk)

I'm looking for a motion based application to my touch pro for activating the LED light as a flash light.
It would be very convinient with an application where I just shake the phone and get a flashlight for about 10 sec before going dark again. Right now it's to complicated to activate the LED light on my phone, and while a dedicated button to turn on the light would also work, I find that when I need a flash light I also have my hands busy to be navigating the menus on the phone. So just shaking the phone to get light would be awesome.
Have anyone of you heard about such an application?

surur, nice job with the first post -- but such threads will consistently be out-of-date as it's your burden to update each app's release/update.
Is there a Wiki-page set-up for such Diamond/Raphael sensor apps? This stick thread of yours could simply link to that where we all (individual developers included) have a single spot to update....
(sorry..if I had more free time I would write up such a Wiki page right now, but lately I don't have as much free time as my Mogul days....)
I just checked and there is an existing HTC_Raphael_Sensor_Software (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Raphael_Sensor_Software) XDA-Wiki page but none that I can see for the Diamond. It would be much more sensible to create single Wiki sensor page for either platform with a more comprehensive list as your OP.
>>>>>>>>I stand by that old prediction.... ;) Rather than relying upon one member, any of us can create and edit a Wiki page, making such a resource far more robust and reliably up-to-date.
Sadly... I still haven't found the time to accomplish that...though still a chance! :)

Hi surur,
Thanks for the great applications.
Am relatively new here, but need some help. I installed Touch Me Not programme, but didn't felt like I needed it after some time. deleted it directly from my Touch Diamond's File Explorer, but there is still the icon there. Instead of the red hand it was, it's now taken the form of an empty windows browser. And naturally, it cannot be opened. However, is there any way to delete the icon completely? Do I have to uninstall it?
Another question, if you don't mind - Touch In Call application doesnt seem to work in my case. The error message is:
"Touch_InCall_Screen_Tweak.exe
NullReferenceException
at
Touch_InCall_Screen_Tweak.Program.FillSensorRanges ()
at
Touch_InCall_Screen_Tweak.Program.Main()"
Any ideas?
Thank you very much! :)

Hi All,
I have an Idea, for someone who knows how to code....actually someone else already did part of the work with the "Diamond Cubes App"!
I'm sure most have heard of the game "LCR" or Left-Center-Right....It's a great "Simple" game and a lot of fun at party's.....The only problem is you always have to make sure to bring the dice with you! That's where an app like the one above would be great....The only changes that would have to be made is, to take the Dots off the dice and add the LCR dice images, and a selection so you can roll either 1, 2, or All 3 Dice.
This way you could get a game going on a whim...anywhere!
The only Downside I see to this would be passing my $400.00 Phone around to a bunch of Drunk Peeps (You were not actually supposed to throw the Dice DUMMY)
Let me know if this already exists, I googled it and found NADA!
Thanks,
0Gravity

The quickest way to uninstall it is to re-install it again and then uninstall it properly from the Remove Application icon in Settings.

Another easy way:
Hook PC into activesync, make sure "View Hidden Files and Folders" is enabled on your PC.

Need for speed accelerometer edition is very cool, tilt to steer and 3D accelerated graphics (I can only find a rather shady link at the moment) it is the closest to an iphone game I have yet come across and is an indication of what games should look and function like on newer win mo devices. Just google it and you won't be far away.:)

Then i installed GSen, i can start it but nothing happens.
But the G-sensor works with the Calibration and Pocket Gforce.

What could be the reason?

I have a touch pro2 and I tried installing the flip app including the .net and other files but it doesn't work, in fact it stops opera and IE explorer flipping in their usual way, remove it and those two apps flip on their own when the device is flipped.
I also wandered if there was or someone thought of making a sensor app that could go to a certains page i.e the today page by performing a pre-defined gesture, so if your working on something and you want to get to the home page in a hurry on the touch pro2 two you have to press the hard button (cancel call button) which is fiddly to hit if your holding the phone one handed, it would be great to be able to give the phone a little shake and take it back to the today screen......WELL ??? thoughts ???

surur, nice job with the first post -- but such threads will consistently be out-of-date as it's your burden to update each app's release/update.
Then have such a Sensor App Wiki up front and centre in this thread's opening post.
I stand by that old prediction.... ;) Rather than relying upon one member, any of us can create and edit a Wiki page, enabling such a resource to be far more robust and reliably up-to-date.
Sadly... I still haven't found the time to accomplish that...though still a chance! :)
Keystone
29th August 2009, 06:19 PM
OK...I just spent a quick half hour to update the listings on the Wiki page with the games section of the OP. A quicka dn dirty job with minimal formatting just to get the content started in place.
We're certainly all welcome to update that and reformat with columns, more defined headers, alphabetisation, date of last check, sensors used, etc...
No point in bitching about a single person not updating this thread.

all of thoose things don't work on Samsung Omnia why?? =(
The Omnia uses a differen accelerometer... If they use koushes SensorAPI, they should work on the Omnia, though you'll have to get an updated Sensor API build... Check out here (http://www.koushikdutta.com/2009/01/windows-mobile-unified-sensor-api-heads.html) which should have links to the latest build...

There is also another racing game Asphalt 4 HD which is also supposed to have the tilt function for turning and such. I watched video's for each and they seem cool enough so I figured I'd mention them here.
