wm6 upgrade

just a noobie question..mite sound stupid, but can the masters of rom cooking or seniors pls advice me if i can straightly upgrade my dopod c800 wm5 with a htc p4350 wm6? without doing hard spl? please help me. as ive been reading and reading and im just a noobie for herald or dopod c800. thanks.

oh yah i have read papamoops hard spl safely but it says i should have ipl spl 4.xxx ... im confused, i still original spl/ipl 1.09.001

dont know what to do.. :(

Do not hardspl or uspl. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you as I don't have any experience with the older SPL's.
