Here the ROM of Cyberdel will be continued by me soon.

Hope I'll do it as good as Cyberdel. Maybe I'll put both ROMs in one (As a multilanguage WWE) But first It'll be continued stand alone here.

Everything unter this is taken from the original thread by Cyberdel and will be reworked soon.

You have to modify touch Flo and then it starts. But it is very slow and crached the device when you go in standby. And when you hardreset not everything is changed back. I don't recomend to use so bugy soft. But if you know how to modify TouchFlow and know what you do, you can try it. I tryed it and it's nothing to use always. you can ask me on how to do the instalation, but I don't recomend!!!!!!!!

Is there a way to insttal this, while the unit is 'stuck' in bootloader mode?

My Charmer, only shows the T-mobile splash screen, then switches-off.
The only other way to keep it on, is to leave it in bootloader mode.

I've reflashed to the original stock ROM with no success.

No you can't use any Charmr WM6.1 ROM, because we use a flashing way for what you need a activesync connection.

The problem I'm facing is that my charmer won't boot up in any of the stock-flashed OS (no matter how many times I successfully flash it). It boots to the initial splash screen (the backlight then dims as it normaly would) then the unit simply switches off. The batteries are fully charged in another phone.


If it possible for your cooked ROMs to be converted to a format compatible with a modified RUU? I can only flash my unit while its in the bootloader.

Yes you can translate it in a working format, but your problem is the hareware. The ROM Chip has failues. Cause of this the bootloader can't find the rom. Only changing the hareware ROM will fix.

@joernetter: Also the Baserom is Wizard it won't work. It will start, but all the drivers are wrong. Because of this you can't call it working.

I waiting for your new version of Czech WM 6.1. And I have to ask, that you want to make some other changes in it.

Becauese ROM is great for me, I just need translate some strings.

So, there is some changes that be great for me.
- change diamond keybord to PocketCM keyboard
- add touchflo scrolling feature like in your WM 6.1 ROM.

I know, that I can install it manualy, but when its in ROM, then storage is free for other apps.

Yes, that can be cause the EPROM is bad. (The parts where the bootloader is stored is ok, but the systempart is bad).

I didn't have time to translate the ROM to nbf but I'll do it tomorow.

I'll do a new ROm when I've time. The TouchFlo will be added again. I can't extract the ROM of Cyberdel but I'll translate my ROM and add Cyberdels tools.

Well, for me it will be not good. Sorry for that, but I like Cyberdel ROM more, because it has better phone app - I can see call duration and call is much faster. And there is SMS/MMS account.

The best for me will be current version of Cyberdel CZ rom with only few missing translated strings. If I know how, I will translated it by my self :)

Taking Cyberdel's apps means I also take the Dialer. I'll also take the MMs5 so the acounts should be togehter.

Cause we use same XIP the rest will be ok too. (You can't fell a change).

Hi there.

I noticed that there is a problem when I try to start CallFirewall 1.4 with this rom.
CallFirewall always complains that there is a dependency that can not be resolved.

Error message is: Mircrosoft.WindowsMobile.PocketOutlook, Version 1.0.0.0, Culture=netural, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35 bzw. eine Abhängigkeit davon wurde nicht gefunden.

Maybe somone can help.

Can you please integrate into ROM tMan instead of pBar? pBar causes some problems for me and I don't know, how I can uninstall it.

I don't know, if you read my previus post in CyberDel topic. I wrote, that it will be great, if You can change some ROMs apps and integrate your touch scroll feature directly to ROM.
And Apps that I mean - Diamond keyboard switch to PocketCM, pBar switch to tMan :). Can you do that?

I'm deleting the viruses at the moment. And yes I can integrage TouchFlo again and change PBar to TMan. I'll also make the ROM UC cabable. (Very great for people who flash often).

I don't want to change diamond keyboard, but I can do a second version without it. Cause of UC the rest is no problem I think.

Hi, I tried to upgrade my Charmer (WM5 T-mobile, AKU3.3) to the new ROM, but it doesn´t work! Did everything as the description says, entered Bootloader on Charmer, connected via USB to my PC (Vista home premium on it), ran the upgrade.bat, but it says " no connection". Where is my mistake? Or has someone an idea for me to get this ROM either? Thanks to all

I just updated my PM200.
After that I got Errormsg:

"kann nicht ausgeführt werden"

The file is not on the Filesystem.

Any Ideas?

Hi everybody,

just being curious what the effect of the new touch.dll would have I 'upgraded' to revision C yesterday and discovered following problems:
1) strange behaviour of the 'OK' or 'X' button in the right upper corner: does close applications only after several attempts; touch screen recalibration did not solve the problem
2) drag&drop in total commander 2 window mode is not working anymore (worked with b release)
Any hint from the experts out there would be appreciated ;-)
Fortunately I have not deleted the former b version from my PC so I could reflash it anytime.

No. 1 is cause the dll often causes this problems and they'll only go away if you delete the touch.dll

just to complete the story:
I copied the 9.b touch.dll over the 9.c one with the effect that after a soft reset my charmer did not react on any touch on the display :eek:
So I 'downgraded' to the 9.b version and everything works smoothly as before :D
