you have installed olinex unsigned hardspl, you verified it and yes it shows in the tri colour page next you installed the radio.
now you try to install a well known ROM of choice then suddenly your device is dead :eek::eek:

what can cause this to happen and why should it if you have followed the correct steps in the first place ?

i was gonna try the juicie's ROM but after reading
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=430332
i think ill stay with swift for a while and count my self lucky.

Maybe the ROM file was corrupt or something odd on your PC happened.

so basically the same thing can happen if you were downloading
the offical ROM ?

for example when i bought my diamond it came with the stock
rom verison 1.39 i had to goto HTC site and download the ver 1.9
based on what you are saying the same thing could of happen then.

so now im guessing that its not safe to change rom's not
even from the makers of the phone

windows is unpredictable (errors, bsod etc etc)
you could have a power cut
a rat may come and nibble at your usb cable

it is mearly to say, use at your own risk, they have tested it but cannot be held accountable for circumstances out of their control

His problem was trying to flash a CDMA rom on his GSM device.
