Help - phone won't boot or recover any more

I tried to install RUU_Vox_ORANGE_UK_1.35.61.1_4.1.13.60_03.18.90_Shi p.exe on my mobile phone.
It stopped at 6% and now whatever i do the only thing which happens is that the green led is on. Please help me recover my vox :(:confused:

Edit: i can enter the bootloader (with the colored bars)

Edit 2: if when i'm in the bootloader i run RUU_Vox_ORANGE_UK_1.35.61.1_4.1.13.60_03.18.90_Shi p.exe or the HTC Official ROM exe, it says "This update utility cannot be used for your smartphone. Please check your update utility" :( If i try to install LeFab's Clean ROM, it says "The image file is corrupted". Both of them after they start the update, at around 3%.

get a nbh rom,
ethier extract it from your flasher or
download any custom rom from this section, it should have a something.nbh file

you then rename it to Vox0img.nbh

and put it in a microsd card with fat32 formated.

Put it in ur device and boot into the bootloader, it should automatically reconize it and ask you if you want to flash it or not.

it says "booting from sd card" for <1 second and then enters the 3 coloured screen and stays like that :(

1.turn off your phone and remove battery for 15 seconds.
2.put battery back, and make sure the sim port is closed.
3.enter bootloader,
4.flash with original htc rom.

What i do:


I enter the bootloader (connect my SP to Computer while holding camera button).
I get the 3 color screen.
When i try to flash it with original HTC Rom or with UK SPV Rom, the installer stops ar 3%, the phone's screen goes black, and i get the picture attached.
If i try to flash it with a cooked ROM from Xda-Developers, i get the screen with the error "Corrupt Image".
If i do the trick with putting the vox0img.nbh on my FAT32 memory card, it says on the SP "booting from SD card" for one second, then it enters the 3 colored screen again.


It is so strange that i flashed it a thousand times with all the ROMs from xda-developers and had no problem. This problem came when i tried to flash it with the UK Official ROM, when it simply got stuck at 6% and the SP's screen turned black.

you checked the sim card port? [ if it is open you wont be able to flash]
tried flashing without battery?
...

oh and i hope you dont have any microSD inside;)

Bootloader = the 3 coloured screen (Red, Green, Blue).
It says Vox ONBL 1.35.0000
SPL 1.35.0000

i tried with or without sim. The SIM slot is closed.

Flashing without battery - the same outcome. Stuck at 3%, then black screen, invalid vendor.

Guess service will be the only option.. :(

Have you tried a ROM from your carrier - or the original carrier of the device? Or is that the ORANGE one you were flashing?

I had the same problem the above fixed it

I downloaded the ROM from the Orange website http://www.business.orange.co.uk/servlet/Satellite?c=OUKDevice&cid=1044134892703&extarg1=Phone&pagename=Business&t=SMEDeviceDownloads

once downloaded right click the .exe and extract it with winzip.
Remove battery and sd card. Hold camara switch on side and insert usb lead (goes into boot loader)
Open ROMUpdateUtility.exe on your computer
Click next twice
click update then click next

This got my Orange SPV E650 up and running again

dude, how can you flash without the battery??
check the following steps:

1: Restart the Phone and REMOVE THE microSD CARD

2: Keep the phone connected to the comp.

Install the VOX USPL-CID BYPASS

double click on the USPL_116_jockyw.bat file.
It will start an MSDOS command prompt. Keep pressing enter till it says

>pause "now start a MTTY session or use RUU to flash any ROM"
press any key to continue...

It will install a file called haret.exe to your phone. Then the phone screen will turn either white/black/or some weird color combination. Dont Worry. It's ok.

3: When u see the wierd color/blank screen, THEN run the flash.exe file from the ROM folder.
