I'm surprised no one else has started a topic on this... I can't even find this problem when I do a google search, so either I'm looking with the wrong keywords, or I'm the only one having this problem? Seems unlikely... maybe I'm just over looking a simple way to turn this issue off?

Well, the issue I'm having is, when I use the Reply All feature of Outlook Mobile (as of Windows 6.1) it includes myself in the To: field. This is kind of annoying, as I don't need to recieve copies of my outgoing emails in my inbox. Does any one know how I can disable this?

Thanks!
-Alex

Outllook on the PC behaves in the same way. I don't think you can turn it off.

Well yes, but I like the fact that Reply All is now the default soft button, I just don't like the result of it adding me to the receipients list. In my mind, Reply All should reply to the entire string of original receipients MINUS yourself.

I use Outlook 2007 on my PC and it does not behave in this way. It does what I expect it to (as I described above).

Thanks for your time guys,
-Alex

This doesn't happen for me - Reply All in WM 6.1 leaves me off the to: or cc: line, unless someone put my name in smtp format (e.g. mlekas@windows_domain.corp.com). I'd hazard a guess that Pocket Outlook assumes my email address is just mlekas@corp.com, and thinks mlekas@windows_domain.corp.com isn't me. Or vice versa. It doesn't happen often so I'm just guessing... bottom line is 99% of my reply-alls (and I send a lot of mail) do not put me back on the to: or cc: line.

Assume you are talking about Exchange BTW. which version?

I have the same issue using the Hyper Dragon 19th Sept. ROM. It did not happen on Duttys 16th April ROM.

I am connecting to Exchange 2003 Sp2.

This is a very logical problem, the to address that you have your emails coming from and the from email address that you have on the phone are different, hence if you do reply all it will also include the email address of yours, as the From email addres in your PDA is different than where people are sending you email i.e. your TO address. verify this and it will be solved.
if its exchange, then go and add youself as the additional SMTP address. so bascially the PDA should have all the address as the FROM address configured by you which will make sure your problem is solved.

Search for "Exclude email from Reply All" from Windows Help...

There we go! Thanks all for the lead, it was just a matter of putting my own address in a field as part of a setting in Outlook Mobile. Very weird though, because I never had to do this before.

freenfast, thanks for mentioning that you're using HyperDragon 19th Sep ROM because so am I! I think there might be a higher propensity for this ROM to cause this issue to occur? I really don't know, but I never had this before and I flashed 3 ROMs prior to HyperDragon.

For those who would like a step by step to fix this issue:

1: Open up Messaging.

2: Tap the [MENU] soft button and select [Options]

3: Tap the Outlook E-mail account.

4: Hit [NEXT] soft button twice. You should be at a screen which lets you check off which data you'd like to synchronize.

5: Select the E-mail item and then tap the [Settings] soft button.

6: Tap the [Advanced] soft button.

7: In the "My e-mail addresses" field, enter your email address(es)

8: Close out and make sure things are being saved. Do a test! This should about cover it.

The so called fix mentioned in this thread is not a fix at all. It will simply remove your address from the list of peole that are included in the 'reply all'. Thus if there are multipul recipents on the original e-mail they will still all be included on the reply. To resolve the issue (which is one of the most dumb things I've seen in a long time) you need to edit the registry and remove the line that boots outlook enhancement. Once this is completed outlook mobile will function as did in past versions displying the 'reply' and 'menu' soft keys versus the idiotic 'reply all' and 'menu' options.
