What a PC setup do i need to clear play a matroska MKV file in 1080p (full HD)?

any core 2 duo processor
around 256 mb graphics memory
1gb ram

should very easily play a 1080p mkv file.

audio will depend on the sound card you have (on board 5.1 is good enough though!)
