Looks great man, but I think you reversed the phone history icon with the All Contacts icon.

Also, is there a way to make the font for the phone numbers in the contacts list just a little bigger? The 6 looks weird because the font is so small, at least on my QVGA screen. It looks fine on the screenshots you have, but on my phone the 6 looks weird, so ... maybe one font size up for that?

make sure you're using the correct version of iContact. it's only for Burt's Edition 6.x....

well, on my phone it looks fine.. so i can't exactly determine which font size might fit you.. (since it's not 6, but 13)

in UltimateM2D.skn there's a string called:
DialingNoListFontSize=13
i suggest you change it to your liking..


i updated the problem with the history icon and the list icon.. so everything's fine now.

maybe you don't have Arial installed on your phone.
copy Arial.ttf from /Windows/Fonts (in your desktop) to your /Windows/Fonts folder on your PPC.

Yes. On my BA, it is so dark as to be almost black. If you could lighten it up to more match PoorlyDuck's suite, that would be great.

nir36, I just recently flashed to a new ROM, and so this is my first time (Aug 2009) switching to iContact Avian Edition, from iContact Burt's Edition.

The only skin choice for me on Burt's Edition was your UltimateM2D -- a beautiful skin -- and so much easier on the eyes than the stark Black & Whites everyone seems so psyched about. :)

I was reading in the iContact Avian Edition discussion pages that the "Burt" theme files were updated for "Avian Edition", but I am not sure yours was done. Is it available?

small fyi: I have taken a liberty to once and for all differentiate the iContact Burt strain from the iContact supbro strain. For too long there has been unecessary "which is the latest version of iContact?" confusion, especially in SEARCH RESULTS, due to new users having no idea there are two distinct branches of a finger-friendly Phone Contacts app called iContact: one that specifically will not use thumbnail pictures in the Contact List view (supbro's), and one that DOES use thumbnail photos in List View (Burt's --> and now Avian Edition), for those of us who like to sort information visually.

In an effort to make this differentiation clear without needing to tell a complex backstory, or explain that the latest version # on supbro's version is way lower than the Burt's edition version #, even when Supbro has posted a newer release, etc. Here's the posting I made at iContact Avian Edition project discussions pageat Codeplex:

iContax > iContax.com > a differentiating name for this branch of the older iContact versions (http://icontactae.codeplex.com/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=65304)

As I make clear in that discussion topic, no one is obliged to follow this naming convention, and the developer will likely continue to name his future release "iContact Avian Edition v 7.3.7" etc. I am simply pointing a differentiated branded name and URL to the official project page, to make it easier for me (and hopefully others to find latest versions).
