Ringtone changes to default on incomming call while connected to pc via wmstorage

Got a problem: any ringtone located in windows\rings changes to "Windows default" on incomming call while Gene is connected to pc via WMstorage (1.5\1.8 or Softic card export II 3.05). Never experienced such problems on other HTC or HP devices. Is it possible to fix this some way?

In file explorer / my documents / my ringtone folder get delete when connected to pc....

Are you guys having any file sync settings checked on Active Sync?

Nope, i dont use active sync at all. Everything unchecked.
Found the same problem on Artemis 3300. Ringtone and vibration doesnt work at all untill reset.
