LOL, that is not really Mexico mate, some parts the north of the country are so American influenced that it looses all of it´s traditions (with all respect to my northern paisanos).
If someday you want to know what is the real Mexico come and visit form the bigest city in the world, Mexico City to the south

Solia usar un dispositivo que no era 3G una wizard y era buena, y otra con 3G una hermes el 3G es increiblemente rapido con telcel pero ridiculamente Caro! por cada Kilobyte me cobraban un kilo de oro! jajaja pues tenia prepago amigo... consigan ilimitado el plan! todo lo demas funciona de mravillas recepcion... mms... no uso portales wap... todo bien.

AH cuidado con la nueva disposicion legal de registrar IMEI de telefonos nueva ley cuates!!! esperemos que nos acepten los HTC!!!!

Siempre pon una traducción ya que el inglés es el idioma oficial de este sitio

Well the bliss them is not working so well on my elfin so i decide to use the analog clock on the WM7 project, nice to know that you speak spanish keep the good work.

yo de veras no voy para ya tanto como quiero, trabajo demasiado y estoy empezado el colegio so no tengo tanta tiempo para visitar familia, y ir a México. ojala que ya que salgo con diploma me saco buen trabajo, y me da tiempo para visitar mi familia que esta aya.

Hola a todos, soy de Yucatan y tengo una iPAQ 610c aunque ya he tenido varios telefonos con WinMo, ¿que tal les trata telcel? a mi me da muchos problemas en 2G, cada que me quedan menos de 20 pesos y empieza con sus avisos de poco credito me dice que no puedo mandar mis SMS's ¡¡¡pero en realidad si los manda!!! solo dice que no puede, cuando estoy en 3G no pasa esto. ¿A alguien mas le pasa algo parecido?:confused:

Actually i have a HTC Elfin and it doenst have 3G but in edge network by telcel it already sent the messages and it told me message sent!... no problem about it, when i had a HERMES it has 3G its an amazing conection but you will need an unlimited data plan cause its so xpensive trudly!

No troubles at all... many devices and many roms tried... Tha PDA VIET always shows the Roaming Icon but it doesnt cost a roaming when calls have made... just the icon. On the Blueangel with wm2003 the STK tools works well but in WM5 6 6.1 and 6.5 doesnt works... xtrange isnt it?

I like Telcel never has troubles with low signal or completely loss and for the cost it doesnt matters just need to pay for i want.

De hecho tengo ahora una HTC Touch o Elfin directa de telcel en buen estado, una ganga de tianguis jajaja pero no tiene 3G en la red de EDGE me funciona bien manda los mensajes bien, cuando tenia una Hermes con 3G la red y su velocidad era increible muy buen servicio pero es muy necesario obtener un plan de datos ilimitado por que es ridiculamente caro! creanme! MMMMMMMMUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYYY caro!!!!! jajajaja

con Telcel no tengo problemas, imagino que mas bien son problemas de compatibilidad en equipos redes radios y Roms por ejemplolos roms de PDA viet me ponen el icono de roamimng mas nunca me han cobrado roaming en llamadas de mi region 5, en Blue angel windows mobile 2003 las aplicaciones sim de telcel funcionan bien pero si lo subes a 5, 6, 6.1, o 6.5 ya no funciona, extraño no?

me gusta telcel nunca tengo problemas de señal baja perdida de señal etcetera... bueno... obviamente en lugares imposibles si la pierdo como por ejemplo en casa de mi abuela jajaja paredes de adobe usteds saben bovedas altas, muros anchos, tuneles pasos a desnivel, en el metro de mi ciudad ya pusieron repetidoras desde hace unos 5 años asi que alli tambien tengo señal... si es caro el servicio pero usando solo lo necesario, y obteniendo promociones te la pasas bien.

I am here with my wife and son. She is Veracruzana.
Getting Telcel mobile internet for the laptop today... better than waiting months for Telmex.
Maybe I can use the G1 with the USB Internet device and tether that to my laptop. I would rather have the Telcel wireless router, but it is not offered here in Misantla. :/

Soy un verdadero amante de los HTC usando 2 Wizards despues un Tilt luego Kaiser y ahora un Fuze, con problemas con Telcel y sus precios por lo que estoy por cambiar a Movistar. Ademas estoy viajando mucho al DF y ellos ofrecen Roaming. A ver que tal sale su Internet.

Hi there! I join the list. Im based in San Luis Potosi but constantly traveling to Mexico City. Im a true lover of HTC I owned already 2 wizards, then a tilt, then a Kaiser and currently a Fuze.
I have problems with Telcel 3g Pricing so Im moving to movistar to try their services. Im traveling a lot and they ofer nationwide roaming. Lets try them.

Can you comment on the radios you use in Mexico?

Hola soy de Puebla y llevo unos meses en este foro, uso un Xperiax1 con telcel, todo bien. Lo uso como Amigo, y cuando tengo poco saldo, sale un molesto mensaje al terminar cualquier llamada, he buscado en todas partes y no parece haber manera de desactivarlo, pues creo que es un servicio para emergencias o algo así. Alguien sabe de esto? Otro problema es que no se el nombre en ingles de este servicio o mensaje molesto. Saludos n_n:)

Yes you can buy it out of Mexico in less price and as long it´s unlocked you just need to put your telcel sim

You need to unlock it first and be sure it uses the same band frequency. Why dont you try the Fuze or the Touch Pro 2 I found tem better than the Xperia.

Of course not, just wanted to point that the "real" México in terms of knowing traditions and culture is stronger on the south of the country.

I'm from Mexicali, on the border with the US, and here our sister city on the us border its like mexico. spanish everywhere, almost no english, except for the traffic signs, they accept pesos. etc etc, just like mexico.

Hola soy de Puebla y llevo unos meses en este foro, uso un Xperiax1 con telcel, todo bien. Lo uso como Amigo, y cuando tengo poco saldo, sale un molesto mensaje al terminar cualquier llamada, he buscado en todas partes y no parece haber manera de desactivarlo, pues creo que es un servicio para emergencias o algo así. Alguien sabe de esto? Otro problema es que no se el nombre en ingles de este servicio o mensaje molesto. Saludos n_n:)

Hola soy Erick, soy de California pero de familia de Culiacan, Sinaloa. Segun yo, eso no se puede desactivar ya que es un servicio que ofrece telcel no el celullar entonces no creo que exista nada para poder quitarlo. Saludos Compa/ Viejon/ Pariente jajajaja. Ni P 2 compa, tiene un buen cell, yo kisiera algun dia jugar con un Xperia pero me conformo con mi Touch Pro 2. Como ke macheteo bien el Espanol para ser pocho jajaja.

I just received my new verizon TP2 (Rhodium), Unlocked with olipro, and flashed new Radio and Newest CDMA Energy ROM. Its Awesome, nothing like this.No doubth it is the best phone worldwide. Its also Global so yoiu can use Iusacell and Telcel or Movistar at the same tome since it allows you to use CDMA and GSM together. Im getting a new plan with Iusacell but I still will be able to use my old Telcel number.

Hi Everyone!!

It have been a month now with my TP2 and im amazed. Its the coolest thing Ive tried. I using the latest ENRGY ROM CDMA and after some problems getting the rigth config from Iusacell and after a couple of fights with Iusa Costumer Service itsdone. Im surfing EVDO in Iusa and with a few cliks I switch to telcel and surf EDGE (Not full 3g band on this model). Im using Iusa in Mexico City and telcel in roads and San Luis Potosi.

It worthed the 500dls.

Hi Everybody greetings from Jalisco!!!!, just introducing myself to the xda mexican community I recently own a Nexus One, aparently one of the first that came out so wont work on Telcel's 3G T_T.
