All Right,

First of, I tried searching the website, for about 3 hrs, and could not find a way to fix this issue.... Some people raised it, but to no concrete solution.

I Have an HTC TyTn II, Bought fron HTC i.e. unlocked and i did not alter it in any serious way...Installed a couple of applications.... MobileShell was the most profound change i think i made to it.. I did Read alot bout cooked ROM's, But did'nt think i should risk it(IRONY???), as it cost me allotta money.... more than I cud afford anyway.
But recently i got the Android files off our fourums, and ran it a couple of times.... it worked sumtimes, and did'nt sometimes, but around the fourth soft rest i did, to boot with windows again, my softwares started erroring....ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!!

The EXACT MESSAGE ON BOOT UP IS:-

"The file'MapKing_SMS' cannot be opened.
Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate,
or one of its components cannot be found.
If the problem persists, then try reinstalling
or restoring this file."

AND

"The file'MobileShell' cannot be opened.
Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate,
or one of its components cannot be found.
If the problem persists, then try reinstalling
or restoring this file"

etc And SoForth for all my programs.....

So, in I uninstalled all of my installed programs from the Remove Programs feature in Settings Tab, Till there was nothing left, Yet some programs ERRORED even when UN-INSTALLING, saying something like " NOT ALL FILES HAVE BEEN REMOVED" or something like that, or to that effect, i am not too sure, as i did'nt at the time think it would such a big deal.

I then Rebooted and tried to re-install them, but the CAB opens, it asks fo the standard

"This program is from an unknown publisher.......Are you sure you want to continue"

message, I Say yes, And it intantly displays

"Installation of XXXXXXXXXXX.cab was unsuccessful."

And Thats it.... There is nothing i can do....

Some1z Gotta help me, I really need u guy's help..... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASe......

Thanks Alot

Why do you need 2000 text messages?

Easy enough to search and find, JEYO

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=219243

looks like it will do it from the windows side of things via an outlook plugin

pim back up is a .exe file, i tried to upload, but this site will not let me load this type of file. i can email you the pimbackup.exe file and then you can transfter it to your device and see if it will open that way. might be worth it.
let me know

on the link i sent, there is another link for www.dotfred.net , go there download the zip file, unzip to your desktop, that is the pimpack up .exe file, copy and paste it to you device. then run from you device, dont try to run from your computer. let me know

lupe

when you get to his site, and find the download link, look right below the links, it say to unzip and then copy and run from the device, not the pc:)

If all you want to do is keep your 2000 SMS messages then I think you may be able to simply copy your pim.vol file from your device to your PC using activesync...hardreset and then copy it back. I may be wrong but worth a try.

All Right,

i donno why, but sprite back up installd, even though sms import, pocket sms, pim backup, and jeyo(to name a few) did'nt, i backed up my stuff, and hard reset.....

couple of warnings resufaced on start up after restoring with sprite, so i backed up my stuff with pim, did another hard reset, and got it back... just sms, call log, contacts,.....

so problem solved, and thank you so much for the help....
