waranty question

is there anyway i can repath the power button.... i wanna get a new phone through the waranty.. i dont wanna brick it if i cant though

what do you mean by "Repath"

also, fro my experience with mobiles, the best way to get a warranty replacement is to hook it upto a >10v power supply by the battery terminals for approx 15 seconds
if it doesnt turn on, youre fine :)
