sorry, my english is bad...
Inspired by iContact and some SPB Shell theme on XDA developer, i have idea to make the application to look SMS with new look (like iContact to old one). When i installed iContact i feel faster and better than default. so i like to have SMS the same way :D.
Unfortunaly i am not able to coding or something.. i just can make the photoshop idea of this.maybe someone can make this application to be real
this is just my "idea"

--> with wallpaper from greatball

the idea:
- group the SMS today, this week, this month, and older - can be minimize
- fewer sms per page few - maybe can faster to load :D
- photo contact on sms
sorry is there are an application like this before...(if u mind please give me the link) TQ

PocketCM Contacts have such an SMS output.

and the thema can be change so that it more look like above :-)
Problem here is, that the SMS are grouped by contact and not by date.

pocketCM is a pain to skin (poorly documented, every version breaks theme compatibility, no support from author), iContact doesn't own sms

I'm using this one... Not really that skinable but it wors very fast. Sorted by contact, and then like a messenger...

That concept looks really nice!
I tried SMS chat, and it worked fine, but I didn't like it enough to pay 15 bucks for it.
I also want to like PocketCM, but it keeps messing up...it's pretty unstable on my phone.
I really wish someone would make a nice app, I am surprised the local gurus haven't done one yet!

my thoughts too: i like vito smschat its really fast, cool, absolutly fingerfriendly and stable on my system but cost 15 $.
PocketCM is different but also fantastic, but actually i have massive problems in combination with ifonz and wm6.1 so i can´t write sms:(
So a good sms application for free would be welcome for me, and this in combination with EMAIL sending/writing ! (?)
I remeber there is a alpha version out here for a sms application ?

I SMS alot as well as Email. I've been searching and hoping for an iphonish/finger friendly-er email app than the outlook one we have. I use SMS-Chat, great app. This one suggested look great. I also hope someone would develop it. Count me in on the donation cup, i'm sure several people would also like an app like this and can chip in so we can encourage some one to develop the app.

I wanted to start a new thread, but came across this one,
I'm searching for a good sms app. with smooth scrolling like Icontact...
i tried a lot of programs before icontact, but they where all unstable, not smooth or had an ugly theme, now for sms I facing the same problem..
Is there any program out, that looks and performs as good as Icontact for
threaded sms ??
I have a Touch Diamond, and everything is smooth scrolling now, Tf3d interface, Contacts except for sms :(

pocketCM is little bit hard to use. it looks perfect like iphonish but to access sms menu you have to touch too much.
i think new program should look like pocketCM and work like icontact;)
