View Full Version : Reducing reminder 'ding'

On my AT&T Tilt, I use a lot Outlook sync with my calendar
This makes the phone to 'ding' each time there's a reminder.

But on my previous WM5 phone, each reminder ran just once. ONE single Ding, and then the reminder waits for dismiss or snooze.

On my Tilt, each reminder sounds many times, maybe 5 or more, and when I've got multiple reminders snoozed on same time, I've my phone continously dinging, until I loose my patience, I take the phone out of the pocket and I check each single reminder.

This is really annoying. 99% of the times, when the reminder sounds I know exactly what it is singing for. So I don't need to check it immediately. I would like to dismiss the reminder later.

Does anyone know a registry key or a menu way to set ding repeating to 1 or 2 times?

Thanks in advance

Alberto

Have you tried unchecking the Repeat box under Reminders in the sound and notifications settings?
