I use logmein.com. I tested it and works fine. You can access your computer from anywhere not just your phone as long as its turned on. its free and it only uses internet explorer.

Few questions..

Now I tried This with the Universal and Laptop connected to the same wifi router!

Will it work when i login from else where?

can I simultaniously see the laptop screen?

Hmmm, as long port requests to your external IP for remote desktop are properly forwarded to the laptop.

I don't know what ports would be used, but if say for example it was port 123, port 123 would have to be forwarded in your router port forwarding settings (usually under applications and/or gaming). So 123 would be forwarded to your laptops local IP, for example, 192.168.1.100, when you access that port directly to your external IP.
