View Full Version : Is there a CAB for "HTC Diamond USB Mass Storage" ?

Hello,

I noticed that some cooked Diamond ROMs contain an "HTC Diamond USB Mass Storage".. This one, for instance:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=367375

..and some cooked ROMs have links to the optional HTC and/or carrier add-on components in CAB form, so I know it is possible..

Is there an extracted cab available for this, and more importantly, would it work with an AT&T 8925/Tilt/TyTN-II running Dutty's WM6.1? I'm willing to test this out if the driver can possibly be extracted and CABbed into a standalone installer!

Anything would be appreciated! I can't get WM5torage to work properly (locks up the phone) and I want to avoid CardExport if I can possibly get the first-party HTC driver to work.

If nobody can help, then I will have no choice but to try hacking it out of a cooked ROM myself. :) If successful, I'll put it back into the community! If anyone else has tried this and determined that it's not possible, please let me know so I don't waste my time trying.

I have already searched the forums and Google, with no useful results other than links to the cooked ROMs.

I'm running WM5torage 1.8 OK on mine, with Duttys 6.1
