People,
I tried searching, but since almost every thread mentions "soft resets" and "app's" and "prog's" I could not find anything. :p
I'm looking for a simple way to do a soft reset without opening my cover. So a single software button somewhere would be fine if it would let me do a soft reset.
Is there anything out there that can do this?

You don't need to open the cover to soft reset.
There's a button in the stylus "hole" (where you put your stylus in the diamond) to do this.

I know, but I hate it... I just want an easy button... :D

Here you go, I made especially for you (:D) in 30 sec a little app (mortscript)
Just unzip where you want, and launch softreset.exe
I Didn't tested it but I think it'll work

Or you can just press the power button for some 5 seconds and the device will ask if you want to turn it off. Answer yes and you are done with your soft reset... it takes a little bit more time, but its safe and will turn off your applications so you don't loose any data...

Assign psShutXP to soft key and you have soft reset and hard reset and turnoff screen and sleep device all in one.

There is a quick app that you can put in your programs menu.

this is my favorite. its psShutXP mapped to 3 sec hold power button, and has proper red cancel not the green.
