BIG Problem! "Black" display... what can I do?

Hello guys, let's make it short... suddenly the display of my Diamond become black and there's nothing I can do to make it on again... I tried everything: reset, remove battery... nothing! :-(

The telephone works, in fact I can receive calls and so... and it even connects through activesync. So it's a display problem for sure! :-((

Now my BIG question: I have to put it back H3G ITA original ROM (first step), that I've found on an italian forum and the original SPL that I've found here (second step), to bring the Diamond to repair.

For the ROM no probs I suppose... I'll go thru Activesync and flash it as usual, but THEN??? I won't be able to use activesync again to flash the spl, since I won't be able to set the initial configuration! :-(

Can you help me? Some ideas??? Thanks in advance!

mmm... what if someone tells me the right steps after a flash upgrade and i try to touch the screen at my best for the initial configuration???

then i could connect to activesync again maybe....

pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaseeeee...... give me some ideas!!! :-(((

you dont need to use activesync to flash :)
enter bootloader mode and you can connect via USB
