ROM for hw6945 vG.39

Hi guys, so, I bricked my device, I was try update my ROM and my device was dead, I tried update with hw6915's rom but nothing worked, I need this ROM please, someone could help me?

Hey spg, It is doen't work because my device is bricked, it is showing only the screen with HP logo with USB (when I put it in my PC) on top and vG.39 on footer. Could you help me? Ah I forgot one thing... my device is CID Lock. :P

I followed the instruction and got a error while write the hp6945-os.nba, now my phone halt on HP logo with 1.00.00 and 1.48NA at the lower right corner screen. How to do know? can you help?:confused:

Hi Spgi, successful recover my 6965 to 1.21UK ver now, but I am interesting in OS ROM 1.48NA from hw6945, I tried twice of your dump by aWizard, failed twice, is there any way to dump or conver the HP6945-os.nba to NBF format? Could you pls upload a NBF format ROM?

Oh, by the way, I used to dump my phone by grab_it, do you know how to write the dumped bin file back to phone? thank a lot, bro!

Man,I read ur thread what u memtioned use MTTY to change the device ID,u r great!

But actually I tried to use MTTY to make my HP6915 device to be upgraded again,apparently I failed. No! exactly was my device failed when the flash tool working. My device just lost GSM at the beginning,then I tried to fix it by flashing,but seems the USB port of device be block,the flash tool always notice :" Error:201" when upgrading

Do u have any idea to help me out of this problem?

Hi,

1. Get the latest ROM for your device from HP !!
2. Create a flash.dio file with these instructions (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3040373&postcount=2)
3. Put that flash.dio on a SD card (!!!! NOT SDHC !!!!)
4. Put the SD card in your device.
5. Press action-action + reset to enter Bootloader mode according to instructions here (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Ipaq6915)
6. Wait end of flash :D
7. Clean Boot

The latest ROM I got just the 1.21 EN version for HP6915 G4,I did extract the file but I never seen "FLASH.NBF" whatever,that make me confused,u know.

Been a long time since these posts...

There's a workaround for your HP iPAQ hw6945 SERIAL/USB v.G 39 screen problem:
Disable ActiveSync, and install the GSM Radio Stack Firmware Upgrade sp35602 again, that was never mentioned in the instructions, but it sure worked, and my 6945 is now back among the living :)

I've been looking all over the internet for the english ROM for my ipaq hw6945 with no success. The WM in my ipaq is in spanish and all the updates for it are in english so none of the updates will install (they dont pass the validation). Is there a workarround for this? Or do you guys have a ROM in english for my device? Much appreciated!
