Weet iemand wat ik moet doen.

Ik heb de Mda Compact 4 van tmobile. Wil er heel graag van af. Wil namelijk een rom update doen.

Mijn vraag is weet iemand wanneer er iets komt van tmobile en

Wat gebeurd er als ik een htc diamond rom update doe heb ik dan alle instellingen en applicaties van de diamond of niet..
Ik heb hier weining verstand van maar irriteer me zo erg aan tmobile dat ik er gewoon vanaf wil.

Zoja waar kan ik die rom update vinden die het weldoet behalve de htc website want daar blijkt ie het niet te doen

Begin eens de FAQ van tweakers.net te lezen. Daar wordt het allemaal keurig uitgelegd en kan je je vragen kwijt. Maar niet vragen naar de bekende weg. Veel staat gewoon in de FAQ.

Verschillende ROM's hebben verschillende applicaties mee, hier moet je je echt even op orienteren. Het upgraden van je ROM doe je alsvolgt:

- Download PIMBackup, en maak een backup van al je contactpersonen, sms'jes en meer van dat soort onzin
- Bestanden op je Storage hoef je niet te backup-en, deze blijven gewoon bewaard.
- Download en "installeer" HardSPL, er staat een sticky-thread met informatie hierover. Deze installatie doet een hard-reset, dus je bent al je gegevens kwijt (die je gelukkig ge-backupt hebt)
- Download een ROM, en installeer deze (zit meestal een .exe bij om de installatie te doen, ActiveSync en een batterij met 50%+ vermogen zijn nodig)
- Zet je backups terug :)

Wat betreft instellingen kwijt zijn: Bijna elke ROM heeft instellingen voor alle providers, dus internet enzo doen het meteen weer (bij mij wel iig, ik gebruik nu Swiftblade 6.0, lekker snel).

gebruik gewoon de hard spl Olinex en zet deze Rom er op *A.Z.T.O.R. V6 Final* [Released] er is ook een nld versie, werkt super, heb het zelf ook gedaan.

And for all the other people that will inevitably come here to ask the same question? It will have to be answered again in English. Why help just one person, when, by simply using the language of this forum (english) many more people can be helped in the future?

Now you have the situation where not many people (including myself) will not offer their opinion also because they have absolutely no idea what has already been said. So again, you have a few people helping one person, rather than lots of people, helping lots of other people - which is the whole point of this forum :)

Verschillende ROM's hebben verschillende applicaties mee, hier moet je je echt even op orienteren. Het upgraden van je ROM doe je alsvolgt:

is het dan een toestel die eigen een t-mobile versie is

You need a Hspl [olinex 1.40]
Then a rom that you can flash. Thats all. maybe have a look at the FAQ from http://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/list_messages/1312814 read some posts from t-mobile users. An other good starting site informing you about Hspl, radio and howto flash.. http://modmydiamond.info/

Maybe one more question: What I don't really understand is what will happen when I will put my SIM card back in the phone after the flash? How does the phone re-get all operator settings etc...for the SIM card to work? is it automatic?

If you flash youre rom, youre provider settings will be set during the connection setup if you leave youre sim in the device. No need to remove it.

How would it be when we go in a Dutch Forum and speak English they would say the same that this is a Dutch Forum and that we schould speak dutch in here,I would say before you join a forum you schould take the time and read the rules, I am also in alot of German forums and i talk German in there forums and not English,If the people would read the forums rules before they join it would save alot of pain and agny ,Have a great day and the forum is the best forum on the net
