Bell Mobility phone on DCD does not work while in the US

I have a Bell Mobility phone on DCD 3.2.6, and when I travel to the US I do not get any phone service. Outgoing calls are met by a recording that says I do not have a valid Authentication Key, but Bell does not require the use of an authentication key in Canada. Has anyone had a similar issue that can help? Should I try phoning Bell or a US carrier to resolve?

I ran into this as well and phoned Bell on landline. They resolved it for me.

Ok, thanks. I was afraid to phone them with a hacked ROM. Will give it a shot.
