Sprint Yellow drop down menu

is there a way to change the yellow color that sprint has installed. I have tried changing themes but the yellow color does not change.

Do you mean in the start menu?
Start -> Settings -> Today - > HTC Black (or other theme) -> ok

yeah i tried that. when i press the start menu the color behind the programs list does not change from yellow.

have u tried to change to another and then back to HTC Black?
sometimes I have to change twice for it to change...

Try this registry tweak;

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\EnlargeMenu]
"ManilaCustomHlDown"=dword:00ababab (hexadecimal)
"ManilaCustomHlUp"=dword:00ababab (hexadecimal)

This should change it to original grey colour in the start menu

Every time i try to edit the registry i get an error that states access denied
