you don't need active sync for flash!!
just boot on bootloader "keep volume down then reset"
and launch CustomRUU
I work for fix this issue very early.

you can also flash with internal storage rename your nbh to diamimg.nbh
press volume down + return then reset
i'm really sorry for this bug

This ROM looked good but neither Activesync on the Windows XP in my office or neither WMDC on my personnal Windows Vista could recognize the Diamond.


At work, Activesync start but it finishes with an error.

I tested the connection with this option activated / desactivated :
Démarrer / Paramètres / Connexions /USB à ordinateur
-> Activer la fonctionnalité Réseau avancé.

I saw an explanation about installing another ROM without Activesync ... Is it possible to have this in french ... because my english ....

mxip_notify.vol is corrupt you just need to replace it
really sorry for this!
I don't use activesync so i don't found this bug.

J'ai donc renommé le fiichier de la rom en 'diamimg.nbh' que j'ai copié à la racine du stockage. Faut-il également copier le fichier 'DiamonCustomRUU.exe' ?

Lorsque je fais volume bas + retour maintenue puis reset! J'arrive au menu suivant :
1. Press Vol up to restore manufacturer default .

2. Press Vol down to restore manufacturer default and format moviNAND

3. Press other keys to cancel

Dois-je comprendre qu'en chosissant 2, la ROM stockée dans la mémoire interne va s'installer ?

After copying the cab's into the 'Stockage Interne', I have executed the first one and rebooted the Diamond.

When I tried to execute the second cab, nothing happened !

So Activesync doesn't work with only one cab installed.

Comme la ROM est en français, je répond en français pour donner la solution qui m'a fait galérer toute la journée.

Excellente ROM, très fluide, très rapide, 2 3 bugs sur la météo mais pas génant et avec une multitude d'adds on très pratique.

Bref pb: activesync ne marche plus après l'install et les fichiers cab ne solutionne pas le pb car si le premier s'installe bien, le second refuse obstinément de s'installer.

idem pour le trick avec la base de registre, impossible de le faire fonctionner. Et pourtant ça marche.

En fait, il faut après avoir décompresser le fichier zip (mxip_notify.vol) modifier les attribus et lui enlever le paramètre Read-only (très facile avec resco file explorer !!! à installer avant d'essayer le fichier 1reboot.cab car après cela, on ne peut plus installer aucun fichier cab sur le HTC.)
une fois que le paramètre a été modifié, vous pouvez le copier dans la racine du téléphone et modifier la base de registre comme indiqué dans le tuto.

Et après, miracle, ça marche....

Perso si la rom le permet, j'enlèverais un maximum de fichier de la rom pour les installer en add-ons comme opera (you tubr et compagnie pas forcement utile). Il manque plus que le calendrier pour recevoir le prix de la rom parfaite !

pour ce qui est de la batterie regarde du coté des reglages dans advanced config ou met a jour ta radio personellement je desactive la 3g quand je m en sert pas.

First of all, I would like to congratulate you for your work.

However, I have a "bug" with XPurple V5.0B. For all my roms, I used the system lock function (when you have to click on Unlock at the bottom left). This function blocks all buttons.
This function is ok but on your rom, the volume buttons are not blocked. Is it normal? How to block them when the phone is locked?

Moreover, when I push the power button during a long time (for soft-reset), I receive the following error: "TouchOff.exe Impossible d'ouvrir le fichier TouchOff. Il n'est pas signé avec un certificat de confiance ou l'un de ses composants est introuvable. Si le problème persiste, essayez de réinstaller ou de restaure ce fichier".
How can I resolve that?

After test: Superb ROM, but a little slow.

The Ideal (for me) : mobile office complete 2007 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) as standard.

Total Commander, PocketRAR GoogleMaps, Schaps's Advanced config and TF3D Config on Internal Storage

I had major issues with this Rom. After flashing it this morning. I started upload my programs. Something happened midway with one installation and after that, the device was locked up. I did a reset and it wold freeze at the diamond boot up screen. Repeated this a couple of times and then did a hard rest to clear all programs and data and started all over. This time I let it sync with my pc data. That went fine. I tried loading software a few at a time. Was ok until WEBIS PocketInformant could not install for some reason. After a reset, I was back to being locked up at the diamond boot screen. I have not had this issue with any other ROMs including the AZORE that this is based on. Not sure what the issue is but I am going back to one of my previous ROMS.

- Impossibilité de fermer definitivement des progs avec le X (meme en utilisant des tweakers)
- permettre l'utilisation du HTC Volume control en lieu et place de ce qui est fourni ds la rom.
- manque transcriber (pour moi tres utile)
- Peut etre integrer Icontact BE6.4 ?
- idem favlib Action bouton ?

New post, New problem (Sorry xboxmod, very good job - once again - but some problem persist)
My only problem with this ROM : BLUETOOTH
I have used Xpurple V5 & V6 and It worked fine
With this one, my Diamond can connect automatically to my bluetooth car kit, but disconnection cannot
The phone do as if I'm still connected
If I turn bluetooth OFF then ON, Connection is Off (Quite normal) but I still can't make or receive any call ... In fact I can, but I can't hear my interlocutor!
After a soft Reset back to normal ... until a new bluetooth connection
Is that serious doctor ???


NB : If there are no communications (in or out) during the bluetooth connection, No problem !

This is most stable ROM with good amount of RAM for surfing. But its not as snappy and fast other one and lacks OPERA.

Keep up the good work. I'm currently using this ROM only as one can install OPERA and surf upto 5 tabs at a time on this one.

If you change the start page (for exemple http://www.google.fr), and the opera.ini files, it will work ..;)

but for now I really need beta tester for future beta 3 (PM if wanna test it & return info)
because nobody uses the device in the same way,
I need Several notices..

The future release doesn't include apps
for install yours on 1st boot it will just put them in a folder in the internal storage. like a lots of rom

thats is exactly how all ROMS should be in opinion. They should have the full option to change & customise the set up how YOU want it, not how some chef believes it should be.
many apps are not used by a good number of people so they just take up valuable space & slow things down. its the simple day to day functions of a phone that make or break a good ROM. Like fast connect & disconnect when making calls and forward message option in the menu tab on the manilla icon.
also easy access to commonly used apps is critical.

i can't fix this because it's an os probleme on beta 2
My future beta fix this.
Can you test the beta 3 to see if bluetooth work

but just extract a blackstone ROM to get oem folder of keyboard
then copy all files in your windows folder
(1st you need to stop SIPGT_app.exe or you can't overwrite it!)

I very love this rom but i can't use it with bluetooth problem.
When i connect my device to my car, it works for the first time then without sof reset it's impossible to get sound with any applications.
I go back to another rom until you produce a corrected rom for this.

Very good ROM no memory leaks.
Although I did tweak it and play with various settings.
But very nice till now.

alors D'abord tu est sur un forum en anglais donc on poste en anglais ou dans les 2 langues,
ensuite le bug du bluetooth a été évoquer plusieurs fois, Beta
tu sais ce que ca veux dire et franchement ce que tu met comme rom
on s'en fout....
nous sommes ici pour creer des roms et les ameliorer pas pour critiquer.


1st language to use on xda is english so post in english or in both languages...
2nd the bluetooth bug we have been already talkin 'about,
& the rom you install we don't care..

we're here to work on rom & improve it no for criticize.
