Sending Phone Back to Asurion

Hey everyone! My phone is running DCD's rom and I dunked it in water. Some buttons dont work but it still turns on. I put in a claim and got a new phone. Does Asurion care what ROM is on my phone when I send it back?

i doubt it. i sent them my 6700 with the no2chem ROM and they didnt notice (care). plus i swaped out the lcd for my buddy because his had a scratch and they didnt seem to notice that either.

I actually just cracked my screen from asurion. They sent me a whole new phone in box!!! charger, battery and all and they only want the cracked phone no battery!!

i sent a bricked phone stuck in BL back to asurion and got a new one lol.

Based on the guy that I talked to at Asurion, as long as you send it in on time they don't really bother themselves with what is on the phone. They do diagnostics to make sure the board and other essential parts run properly, then swap out the parts that don't perform to specs.

If you are able to revert, do it for good measure. If not, no biggie.

I had to pay the $50 bc i cracked my screen. before i dropped my phone and a couple buttons quit working and verizon replaced it for free. Both times I got brand new phones in boxes with charger case and all
