CID status...

Can someone please tell me if there is a fool proof way of telling what the current CID status is for a device (my diamond) as i am looking to try a non orange UK rom.

If this is a duplication, i apologise, time is of the essence.

The easiest way is to just flash a custom ROM on it. If it refuses to do so, it's CID locked and you'll need to flash HardSPL first :D

but will it wipe whats currently there... and so be a pain in the backside to get back up and running again?

if you flash any rom i.e even non cooked - it will still erase the OS :)
