lost power while upgrading radio can anyone help, now i am only seeing tri-colour screen.

Try reflashing "shipped" ROM - the original Carrier ROM on the Hermes.
Sometimes this works.

Now you know why people advise using the sd card method to upgrade radio roms.... Unless you have a flat battery or manually reset and have'nt Hard SPLed, there isn't much that can go wrong.
