Hi all, I have WM 6.1 WWE (spanish):

rom 3.13.412.0 esn 8/24/2008
radio: 1.59.42.15
protocol 25.85.30.07H

and have had a bad experience flashing swtos 1.0 light rom: it was fast, with the gps, wifi and bluetooth working as a charm but the phone and the camera did not work and I do not want to flash new radios, older radios or muratas radios (for what I have read there are real risks here). I flashed backed the original wm 6.1 rom in spanish and everything is fine now.

I would appreciate your opinion on which rom best suits me:
- I do not want any interface or plugin such as m2d, touch home plugin, diamond, etc.
- I do not want the cube, rather re.direction to setvolume or whatever other application without loosing the kinetic scrolling.
- I want it fast and with more storage and program memory (the only drawback in the cruise, in my opinion)
- I want to use normally all the hardware in the cruise: the fm radio, album, wifi, gps, bt (parrot ck3100)
- I do not care that much about additional software included (task managers or whatever)

Is there any windows mobile 6.1. "as it is" ROM, simply removing third party programs such as IE, Opera, htc home and cube but with kinetic scrolling?
I know each rom is different and each user must try himself but I would appreciate direct opinions on the ROMs you think may suit better the description I gave

I flashed also khanx v5.1 (vanilla) and had the same problem.
After two ours of browsing xda I found the solution. It seems is a newby usual problem:

As most newbies I have a touch cruise rev B so for whatever reason it seems most roms will not work without murata.

To check if your cruise is A or B remove the battery and check the sticker attached to the cruise:
Bar codes
IMEI : Imei code
Bar codes
S/N: HT999AA99999
Bar codes
P/N:99AAA999-99 B

It seems you need a version of murata radio, not the oldest one. and I have read in a french forum about problems with battery drain when using this radio.

So since I do not plan to flash radio I would appreciate if anybody with a rev B cruise and radio 1.59.42.15 and wm6.1 and a light rom can share with me which one he is using.

This one is working in my Polaris rev B, with radio 1.59.42.15
The radio is included in the ROM.
I do not understand anything but it works !!!!
Btw, it is so much faster than the HTC 6.1. official ROM and only has two really minor bugs !!!

Checked my P/N and it ends with a B so I assume it is a Revision B
