New S740 Rom for S710

Here you can download my built rom. 3 issues in it so far :-

1. Connection setup
2. Sliding Keyboard
3. HTC Album

I will fix them soon too..

I can't understand.... for those who want 96 dpi ROM...why just not install the "96 DPI hack" CAB in this tread?????

it worked well for me.
And i think it is applicable for every ROM WM 6.0 or WM 6.1 without the needing of cooking...SO choose your ROM and then apply the CAB...nothing else.

It wont crash phone. When you click on Encryption, It just says, Setting could not open.

we have 2 roms but without sliding keyboard correct and one that has other problems...
It is a vox rom!!!!!! who needs a vox without sliding keyboard....
so why not to try fix this instead of making roms??

I got really addicted to your previous 96DPI rom, I can't think about going back with a regular DPI one.
Do you know if getting 96DPI on this one is easy ? If I remember well, getting the original rom to 96DPI was a huge mess with the icons issues etc.

It wont crash phone. When you click on Encryption, It just says, Setting could not open.

It says Setting could not open as you say and my phone locks.

The sliding keyboard number pad keys work from the Homescreen to dial, the letters etc will not work so there can not be much wrong with the keeyboard driver. Have you used the driver from a working WM6.1 ROM or are you using a modified S740 keyboard driver?

i installed the 96DPI pack from the link you have put here. i followed the instructions, but, i cant get to file explorer, my home screen is blank, i cant run any programs. i was using Fireburned Clean QM 6.1 ROM.
Can you tell me how to fix this issue?

It's very strange!!! I'm actually using the 96DPI hack and I hadn't a single issue...and as you can read from that thread...users that have WM 6.1 and have installed didn't have that issue...maybe it is a combination of more factors...if you press start...what happens?

have you tried pressing start (left softkey) >>>keypad 8>>and then keypad 8....this should bring you to the "remove programs" page.

my device became a complete brick !!! :confused::(.
Later i followed akumalol's advice and then able to flash to fireburned WM 6.1 ROM fortunately.

Yes, there is a serious problem when 96dpi cab is installed on wm 6.1 device.
After that, file explorer, activesync, recently accessed app list .. all will go for a toss.
the only way to come of out of this issue is to reflash by going into the bootloader menu manually and then issuing flash.exe from the desktop pc.

mmm I think you should investigate further with shadowmike i think 96DPI app is his creation (maybe I am worng???)
