Can anyone extract the Newer Jbed from S740 ROM for Vox??

Hi all chefs, great contributions by all of u to this Vox community, i had a small query, can you please extract the Newer Jbed from s740 rom... or post a newer version other than the JBED3DMOD version, coz its old enuf now and has a annoying error/bug in wch the lower portion of the screen of Jbed doesnt match with the screen of jbed, instead it shows the background patch.. i hope u understand wat i m tryin to explain, coz this is a very common bug i suppose,,, thanks in advance

How do you install this new version of jbed?

Wow, it works perfectly!!!!
I'm so happy, finally a jbed version which displays Gmail normally without missing menus :)
update: AND the voipbuster client is also working! :)


INSTRUCTIONS for install on other ROM:

(use total commander or resco explorer)
Just copy the contents of the JbedJava folder to the Vox \Windows folder and replace the old files.
Do the same with the files in the 0409 folder.

(if your language is Russian, use the 0419 folder or use 0809 for UK English)

You will need to update you java apps (menu - actions - update)
or reinstall them.

Hey Frauhottelmann, as always, great greater greatest job... thanks a lot.... the interface of the new jbed is coooool... no more of that annoying transparent bar at the bottom, everything nice...

btw can u please tell me do i need to rename files before pasting into windows folder, coz presently i have just copied ur given folder into the storage card and running it from there itself...

one more doubt, can we change the font of jbed, coz its not the standard segoe font and the present font is veryyy small to read, tried extra large fonts also in opera mini... still small fonts... please tell how to change jbed font and font size....

Usually it should work if you just copy it. But the old Java version is probably included in the ROM, so that might cause an error. You need Resco Explorer or something similar to that. Windows Explorer doesn't overwrite files that are in ROM.

k... and wat abt fonts... how to change fonts and font size of jbed ???

I'll post here the same message I posted on the java bible topic hoping someone will help.
Even if it doesn't support 3D apps and it's an older version there are some users on this forum (including me :) ) who'd like to have this version on their devices. Isn't there anyone with the right knowledge willing to help us ? :D Thanks in advance !
