Camera Fixes for Syrius R0?

So I'm still running Syrius R0. I've installed the latest radio, and have everything pretty stable and apps running great. But I went to take pictures this morning, and couldn't find a "macro" mode for closeups, and the focus isn't working very good for close ups of objects... watches, etc.

I'm currently running Camera for PocketPC, Version 6.8, Build 32018. I'm just wondering if the patches on HTC's web site would even apply, since I'm running a different version of camera software. Is there a newer version available that might help? Or am I just stuck with what I've got?

Now I broke my camera! :(

I figured what could it hurt to try updating my camera with the fix from HTC's web site. But now the camera loads up, and I get NOTHING on the screen. It's as though the software no longer knows where the lens is, or it's like I've left the lensecap on, and the camera doesn't respond.

Any simple fix? Or must I hard reset my device? :confused:
