View Full Version : Send Reminders to BT car panel

When I'm in my car, I use my Kaiser with the car Bluetooth system.

I noticed that the car control panel shows:
- Incoming caller ID (number when not in contacts, contact name when available)
- Phone Low battery warnings

So, the only thing really missing is the reminder.

When I'm driving, with the phone in my pocket, If I hear a reminder sound and I don't remember what that reminder is, I have to take out the phone from the pocket and check the reminder on the screen.

My hope is that the list of 'what to send' is inside the registry, and that 'reminder' could ba added to that list...

Any idea?

Thanks in advance

Alberto

Use Microsoft VC. It will announce reminders over bluetooth with full text to speech. it will also read sms messages in full and emails will include sender and subject info.

It could be great (may the pronunciation will be a little strange in Italian...).

But...

What is "Microsoft VC"?

I just crawled microsoft mobile site, and I didn't find anything...

I installed MS VC, configured it to send reminders, sms, etc..., on handsfree device, but nothing happens...

It works on device speaker, instead, but when I'm driving I don't hear it.

Anyway, my preference would be to have reminders on the display of the car, not via voice. As the display shows battery warnings, caller name, the entire contacts database, I hope it could be able to show other information, if the phone sends them to the car via bluetooth...

Thanks for your help...
