and do you have the pproblem with audiomanager2 too that it breaks down lots of times/needs a lot of ram?(6 or 7mb for me!)

hey in all the roms that I had based on s740 rom - HTC Album worked smoothly without any problem. Problem is that ActiveSync is not working, power control panel in Settings screen is corrupted, CommManager link from quicklist and from Settings screen is not working (hopefully replaced by default wireless manager - wrlsmgr.exe) and also qwerty keyboard is not working. I hope that with this rom all this issues will be solved.... good luck and I am waiting for the link to download. thanks for great job and for support.

htc album dont works in my previous rom and in zeshe rom...
active sync fixed.
power control panel is ok
commmanager works from quick list
and the sliding keyboard is working exept some things.. check out in bugs..

one thing i notice is, after it does the hard reset and reboots after installing settings, it retains the old welcome screen which was there in my previous ROM.

This old welcome screen comes followed by the animated new hTC welcome screen with a tingling sound!!!.

this is my first observation.

i dont understood much but maybe this is because i dont have a primarysplash.nb on my rom so you have the old one...

Just flashed your ROM, the speed is very nice! I also like the new animated bootscreen.
The first thing I stumbled upon: when I selected my country and operator in Connection Setup, it prompted me to reboot, and after the reboot an error message showed up saying "Error in the database". As a result, Connection setup didn't create GPRS connections for my operator. But that's not a very serious bug anyway.
Great ROM, keep it up :)

my keys on full keyboard dont work only the ones who work with the other s740roms!

do i have to use special setting?

for example in acessability or regionalsettings?

Hi all. Here are my experiences with this rom

1. ActiveSync is not working under Windows XP. I made double check. I flashed my Vox with clean WM 6.1 (from another thread) and it worked. It is really strange.

2. Changing of regional settings partially is doing some problems. I am not able to change digit format. I am able to change it in the screen but unfortunetaly settings are not stored.

3. Connection setup is not working. I ran that app. I have chosen my settings (country Slovakia, provider Orange). Immediately after pressing button "OK" I get screen with information to restart my phone. After restart nothing has been configured. Connections screen is empty.

4. Bluetooth is not working as I would expect. Under Settings - Connections - Bluetooth the first item (called Bluetooth) is missing. Using this item I was formerly able to find another devices.

5. What I am missing is CHomeConfig included. I can install it manually so I do not think this is a big problem.

6. CameraAlbum is not working even not run.

Be a little bit polite. You never know if a ROM is working for everybody (see my Rose ROM). Cooking is a process that is probably the most annoying thing you can do with your phone. FYI I made 14 beta ROMs before I thought I could release it. And that is just for the Rose ROM, I made a lot more for my Lite ROMs.

1.ActiveSync is working for me in XP...but a popup appears once connected.

2.Regional settings-no idea where to change digit format.
3.Connection setup(country India, provider Hutch) worked.
4.Yes Bluetooth needs to be checked completely.
5.CHomeConfig installed manually and its working fine.

Overall the ROM looks awesome..the interface on Audio Manager and its homescreen plugin is good:cool:.But in older version of Audio Manager..navigation keys were used to control the volume but in here..using side buttons to control volume:(...Everybody knows Vox's side buttons suck:mad:..So please try to change the volume keys back to normal;)..

I'd been using this ROM for 1 day when ActiveSync suddenly stopped working. It seems that the phone cannot find the corresponding software on the PC. I had to flash another ROM because of that.

I am very happy that all you flashed this rom! and all of you say bugs for it.
Note: I believe that a smart person that read's "version 0.3 almost stable" understand that this is expirimental rom and that probably his is going to flash again...
If you flashed my rom because you want your vox to be "with the last super ouaou windows mobile, htc, sys, software" or anything like this you are suggested to flash with the other stable version's around here...
This is a Rom on developing stage, so if you wish to help, flash, report bugs and maybe....

Ok so i beleive bluetooth is the biggest problem [ i dont have problems with device connect on pc, maybe cause i use vista]
trizzo have u changed "connections - usb to pc" maybe it will be fixed...
maybe it has something to do with the bluetooth as naidu001 screenshot report's.
As about Connection setup, i cant use it cause of my sim. :) so don't know..
Chome is an app that is not included in Rose rom :p
As for htc album i know that the only fix for know is the older version wich works perfect for me.[ maybe i can upgrade a bit using dll's from the new version]

i think Bluetooth problem is because of the new bluetooth software from rose packages.

Anyway i didn't have much time today for testing[play with files,create rom,flash,test] cause i had a work on my university and i almost broke up with my girl....
So i will start testing again tommorow...

Wow, take it easy. Nobody is rushing you. And if, they are certainly not aware of what you do. Don't miss out on things that are more important (girlfriend...). It is very time consuming and I didn't have time this week, because I set my priorities elsewhere. If it takes weeks to finish the ROM, so be it. This process just needs time. Good work so far!
Try the old Connection Setup instead of the new one. It worked for me. Bluetooth worked too, but I don't know what I did for it to work. You can just use the old software, I don't think there's gonna be much of a difference. :D

I agree with you on the things you said about the developing stage of the ROM. It was fun to test it and I loved the speed and the new features (particularly the dialer screen and the homescreen).
I'd like to test it for some more time, but unfortunately I need the phone for my work for 2 days, so I had to flash it back to the stable ROM.
Anyway, the ROM is quite impressive, so good luck with it :) I'll be happy to test it.
Btw: the ActiveSync problem persisted when I flashed another ROM, but it vanished completely after I restarted my PC. Gives food for thought

open with notepad and add this line
{0x78 R # #}
the rename it and add an 'o' to vox
example:
et9.voox.0409.kmap.txt

copy back to device
and change registry
local machine/software/tegic/et9/ime/keyboardlayoudlls/
and change et9.vox.0409.kmap.txt to et9.voox.0409.kmap.txt
reboot if nessesary.

I believe this was easy...
btw how can u use this rom without bluetooth....

Yeah, thanks. I thought about this too just 10 minutes ago, because the chunk size of the Vox profile is too small. Unfortunately I don't have the folders of my original version laying around...So I guess I have to start all over again. Maybe even with other languages... We'll see...
