Anyone know how video calling is treated?

Is it an extra charge? or does it come under talk time and data?

It wont be part of your allowance unless you paid for an extra video calling bundle. Usually it'll be about 50p per minute (I think it was when I was on t-mobile a few months back).

You'll need a 3g reception to be able to make/receive video calls.

I think Orange UK have a free trial bundle that only applies in the first 2 months of your contract. After that you have to pay extra.
