Any idea on how to get the Sprint Music store and Java to work??? I've tried multiple cab files with no success. Keeps giving me the same error "The file 'jeodek' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."

You My Good Sir, have done a lot already. All my demands were met ( Task Manager, Enlarge Start Menu, Recent Google Maps, my zip code in weather). I would say this is the only ROM ( not to discredit other ROM) running M2D that I have been fully satisfied with. My Hats off to you again Sir.
Thanks man! Good to hear!

don't want to bug, but that would be awesome if you could keep us up to date with kitchenpacks as well, or is there way to extract it myself i am over looking???
I will do so. Just hadn't had the chance to get it done yet. Maybe tonight.
Thanks again for checking out my work!

So a couple days later, tried both ROMs and awesome job my friend.
THE ROMS ARE AMAZING, period!! The new build "touchFLOs" a lot better thru out the whole OS. Opera now works better for sure!, and I love how my album art actually shows up on the main screen! (which i didn't personally get with throttle launcher 3d) (still was a good cab!!)
A couple questions when it comes to comparing the two (new and old) ROMs:
1. I'm sure its a simply theme download, but nothing nicer than having it cooked in lol but is there a reason why you switched from the white manilla 2d to the gray? (and included in that is the color "hold down scree" which i thought was cool and unique)?
2. Is there anyway to have the analog clock? I must say everyone one else hated it, but I LOVED IT, the analog clock with the digital real small to the right. Very unique.
Of course the simply solution for me is keep the original ROM, but then i would lose the benefits of the upgrade Google Maps, Opera, and Camera oh AND OS/CE Build cause the touchFLO scrolling thru out the OS works better in the new build.
I probably just typed a lot now that I think about it, if there is a simple cab for the analog clock and white theme for m2d lol!
I can prolly cab something up tonight. I just need to think about how. I dont like the big clock either and cooked my own rom with the older theme. Many people liked PM'ed for the new theme.
I woudl liekto gather as much feedback as possible about the Round 2 ROM. If enough people request I will do a third ROM.
Another thing I can do when I make the kitchen is to include both OEMS to choose from.
For this reason alone I never wanted to release a ROM. It will be impossible to satisfy everyone. Lets get some feedback going about the theme and majority will rule! Thats the most fair I can be. But like i said I like my original theme better too ;c)

This rom is by far amazing, everything is running well except for a couple of issues after having it for a day:
1. "Tap Here to Restart TouchFlo" shows up after I run certain programs like SMMS, the Camera, Picture Video Viewer, etc...
2. Some programs just stop for no apparent reason, and goes straight to the homescreen.
These issues didn't happen on your last rom where I believe it might have to do with "Task Manager" program that is added to this current one!
It's not a biggie to me as I'm moving to the Touch Pro soon, but just a heads up for your records. Also, You're doing an amazing job...I will donate next week!
Did you install anything after you flashed? I am curious because no one else is saying this on a wide scale from my knowledge. Also what carrier are you on?

Well thank you regardless, ur work is very appreciated no matter what this is still the best rom for me!!, i will have to decided on one or two myself lol. If you do end up making a cab for the analog clock and white theme it would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you once again!!!!

What carrier are you on?
The only thing majorly differnt from Round 2 from Round 1 was a bump in the CE OS Version, 20748 to 20755. That could be causing this. I havent tested the 20755 as much as I did the 20748. If need be I will rebuild with the older CE OS as I didint see any thing different about them. Lets see what others say.

So far the 2nd rom is pretty amazing....thanks.
Possible weather cab for Westerville, Ohio 43081??
Is there a kitchen file for the 2nd rom??
Thanks for the feedback!
There is a post on this thread somewhere that shows you how to update the city yourself. Its very easy. With that being the case I am going to refrain from posting any more city cabs. I will however pull a new database into the next ROM. This will include much more.
I'll get my kitchen pack together early this week. I will update the first post that i have on the first page. Check back for details.
Thanks again!

Dont know what the difference between today and yesterday is but the PPC Kitchen is giving me an expired message so I updated everything and am now getting config version errors. IM re-imaging a mchine now with nothing installed on it and I will try again.
My Intent with Round 3 ROM is to revert back to the old base kit and just add the newer OEM's that I used in Round 2 for Opera, X-Button, Google Maps and large start menu. I am also reverting back to the original theme as the new theme may be causing more memory overheard with the larger graphics on the home page.
Im trying got get the kitchen going again.... Cross your fingers. PPCKitchen board is rife with this problem right now. This is so not cool how they FORCE you to update. Just more reason I need to spend time working on my own full blown kitchen. Anyways..... I'll post progress as it goes.

When you all are having the random TouchFlo shutdown issues did you happen to modify TouchFlo at all by adding in more tabs using the customizer or modding the XML file? IM just curious because I can guarantee that will cause this issue which is why I tweaked it the way I did.
Please let me know.

just something i noticed while messing with the m2dc is that the "myfaves" tab doesnt let touchflo run, whenever i tried to add it to see what it was it would say "tap to launch touch flo" then said it was loading and went back to "tap to launch..." Not a big deal, then i thought maybe cuz there are to many tabs so i disabled all but that one and still no go.

Before I moved to your newer rom and had these issues, I installed the big digital clock, and tweaked the xml files on your older rom and had no issues at all. I don't believe the clock would cause the errors, but then again...I'm not a rom developer.
I love everything about the new rom, besides the issues mentioned.

Like I said, I reverted back to CE OS version 20748 and I am running at one time, (NO CRAP this is true!), File Exlplore, Youtube, Opera and IE (AND NOW THE CAMERA) and touch flow DID NOT shut down like the second ROM. I did however exclude the large Start Menu and X Button.
Rebuilding now with this in to see if they are the culprit.
I also have one sprint Beta Tester. Anyone on any carrier want to try this next Round?

Ok, with the X-Button and the Large Start Menu TouchFlo shuts right the "F!@K down as soon as I launch Opera. That means.... as someone suggested about 4 pages back that the X Button is the culprit. More testing on my side to come... Re flashing now without the X Button but wiht the Large Start Menu.
BTW: This also explains why I never had issues before when people complained about TouchFlo and the shut down issue (Other ROMS and isntalls). I dont run the X Button. I use the Task Manager and map it to a hard key. Takes more work but tt has that Windows task Manager look that I like.
Any one else have any thoughts on the X Button or large start menu?

Just a heads up, with your last rom not only did I install digital clock, install black minimal dialer, and edited xml, I also added beyond invisible's weather theme & BJK HTC EZinput keyboard and was running perfect. The only thing I didn't install was the X-Button.
At least for me, I think it's the X-Button that's the culprit!
(PS...I also added the picture and music tab on the home page as well, no problems either!)

Ughhh, I am tempted to call it quits and just leave the first ROM. It just seems much more responsive. I dont get it. Still having minor restart issues and it is when I launch Opera. Then when I launch TouchFlo again it shuts down Opera. WTF. This is a different build of Opera than the first ROM as well.

Yes, I am thinking about taking the ROM back down right now. I am working on a fix. I reverted back to CE OS 20748 and am experimenting trying to find out what app has caused this. There are about 10 variables I am dealing with not to mention the number could theoretically grow exponentially due to multiple combinations of problems when upgrading OEMS like I did. Now take what ever number you choose and then cxonsider that a ROM flash for me. YIKES!! It may take a while but I woudl expect by the end of the week I should have this figured out.
The good news is I always back up my kitchen files before changing ANYTHING. I always got burned when making changes, hehehe... I could just unzip and fix the first couple minor bugs in the first ROM like the camera but leave all the OEMS exactly the same. That would be the best iteration yet. Basically the first ROM fixed.
I have also noticed the the PPC kitchen upgrade that I was FORCED to upgrade to today is flaky as hell. I doubt that has anything to do with it but it wouldn't save all my selections when I saved. It was weird. Tried on two different machines. Oh well.

I'm still on the first iteration because I never flashed the new one. Opera always shuts down TouchFlo and when I first run it, it closes again immediately. I have to run it twice to stay open. I'm going to try the file posted on this page and see if it helps.
I would really like to know if anybody has issues using the hardware keyboard with Opera. It won't type in the fields. It seems to be something to do with the fullscreen, but it'll only type one character in the field when not in FS until you refocus on the field.
Can I install a newer build of Opera over top of the cooked one, or do I have to re-cook the ROM?

i installed another build of opera and it runs stable eg it doesnt turn off and go back to the home page.
it does turn off touchflow, which im guessing is due to its high ram requirement so touchflow would naturally disappear. not a biggie as you just turn it back on after using opera.
nothing else im using seems to shut down touchflow so seems okay.. will keep testing.
this is my first go at touchflow.. one thing i curious about is the sms tab. why do multiple messages from the same contact show up separately.
eg. 2 new messages arrive like so:
contact a
contact b
i then read these messages.. so i thought it "resets" the counter.
2 more texts come in eg:
contact b
contact b
after reading these 2 new messages. touchflow still shows messages like this
contact a
contact b
contact b
contact b
they dont actually disappear. is this how its supposed to work? seems like a really odd way of notifications. ive normally used vito sms chat. i like the messages tab for notifications but seems oddly set up. how do make touchflow call vito sms instead of winmo's messages.

Looking forward to an updated rom. Been using this since we chatted Scott and you helped me tremendously. A couple things I noticed after first months use with your rom:
1) Don't let your SMS stack up, I had way to many messages and it would lock up and slow down everytime I went into my SMS Inbox
2) The said problems with touchflo closing is common to me, I just deal with it but any info on a fix is always appreciated
otherwise excellent rom!

To be honest with you there is not really a fix for touch flow shutting down on its own. The application was designed for a device with twice the RAM we have. With that being said the best we can do is not "Overload" the memory. This is what I did when I built the first rom. When people asked for an improved ROM with more apps things started going south for touch flow. I think its a reality with all the goodies added this will happen. This is the number one concern on every forum that takes about touch flow (Trust me I have been doing my research).
IM going to try reviving my first ROM and just fixing the camera and leaving out all the requested extra's. I will however link in the first post the CAB files that people want to add.
The first ROM was stable and fast because it was much cleaner than the second (see above).
You will basically ahve two choice's the Round 2 ROM with all the goodies everyone asked me for or the original ROM which is a bit stripped down but hardly ever closes touch flow.
Most of the problems people are seing with touch flow stems from the facts noted above. Not to sound cynical at all but if you read my first post to this ROM i hated touchflow because it was pig. After using it I think it looks so damn awesome though. Oh well, what are we to do?
I'll start working on the Round 3 ROM tonight and will hopefully have it up by tomorrow night. What complicates this is the fact that the PPCKitchen EXPIRES when they want it to. Because of this I was FORCED to update to the lateste kitchen and the latest rebuilds of that same basekit. The original 20748 basekit would not work at all with the new Kitchen. This sucks! I know the first kitchen was tight. I worked for about a month getting it right then they did this.
I will try again and hopefully this time I can rig the kitchen. Have been putting some though into moving this into the DCD kitchen but the main draw back there is compatibility with the OEM's and a slightly older build of CE OS that does not include the cool touch scroll feature.
Also for those that may not have known the original ROM and Kitchen are still on my site. You can always download the kitchen and tweak it the way you like. I would recommend leaving out Opera. Its just a pig. Point blank. There are known numerous problems with it. One of them being the landscape / keyboard issue someone noted earlier today and a couple times before that.
Cross your fingers, I am going to try and revert back the old kitchen shortly.

hi scott,
seems like the issue of programs just closing is common. im having the same problem as well. it wasnt a biggie so i just carried on. otherwise, its pretty darn good.
be osum if the telecom rom is updated with the others too,
thanks heaps in advance!
Which carrier again? I will include you in the next build. Sorry I forgot.

The hardware is well known issue with opera. It was stolen from a device that has no keyboard! (Someone correct me if I am wrong).
IM not sure baout installing a new version over top any software in any cooked ROM. Its always a crap shoot. Give it a try and if it doesnt work then hard reset. Let us know what you find if you ahve the time.
Thanks for checking out my work!!!

is it possible to get an updated list of what's edited or modded in this rom?
the only thing i've read is that you got m2d on the rom and that it was based from no2chem pre3
what programs are included?
what programs were taken out?
etc. thanks
This ROM is NOT built of NueROM3 Pre3. My personal ROM is which is why I dont have any memory issues like people report with the "normal" ROMS. I would do this for everyone but he never released the kitchen to the public and I don't want to chance angering someone that contributes soooo much to what we are all doing. I will ask him if we can use his kitchen but I have a feeling hey may say yes but I would not be able to distribute the kitchen files making this an almost proprietary ROM. Proprietary is never good. Ask Tandy Computers. Hahaha
Also, if you want to know the changes to the second ROM they are posted to the same post on the first page right below the link. Check there and that should answer your question.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for not flipping out about the TouchFlo closing issue. I think we all know this may not be a solvable issue until we get our, dare i say, TOUCH PRO BABY! Damn I want that phone more than water and oxygen! Haha!
Thanks again all!
One last thing. Should I just outright pull the second ROM until the third is complete as the first one received much more Kudo's?
I Built this ROM for the community so let me know what you want to do!
No PM's keep it on the board.
Thanks again to all!

i've tested your round 2 rom and it seems pretty buggy. so i'm downloading the regular one to test.
what i recommend is having all the third party programs seperate in a different zip or rar file and have the rom in one file. let the rom include all the basic such as m2d and stuff. i would like to install third party software on my own. For example, i rather use mini opera instead of opera. and i don't use shutdown or spb backup, but i use pimbackup. etc like that. hope you understand
btw the m2d update19?

2nd rom for some reason seem sluggish to me. some programs would run then the m2d would close and i would need to relaunch it. then audio manager all of a sudden died and it would crash the whole m2d until i reboot.
downloaded 1st rom and i'm going to flash it in couple mins to see if that one is more stable

Thanks for the feedback. As we have discovered over the last 5 or so pages the Round 2 ROM is buggy.
As far as splitting up the ROM as you suggested..... Ummmmm.... well... You cant really do it the way you are saying unless I am grossly misunderstanding you. But I do understand what you are saying by eliminating the extra apps. I have posted a kitchen pack based off the PPC kitchen from the Round 1 ROM for the intent that people could do exactly what you are saying. Could that be what you are trying to say? If so I did what you wanted.
BTW: I got some tricks up my sleeve, Im not done just yet..... Round three may be out soon... Like later tonight. Much improved too.... See my next post ;c)

I got a new kitchen pack and ROM on the way! I finally took the time to convert the OEM's over to the DCD kitchen. Its sort of a pain in ass but.... it was worth it.
Here are the advantages.....
1. I am already booting with 2 megs more RAM free than with the PPC Kitchen.
2. It "feels" more responsive than the first two ROMS. See above
3. Builds are so much faster.
4. And my favorite reason..... You can build it without a carrier and add it in later after first boot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For me that means building and maintaining one single ROM which is a dream come true for me!!!!!!!
ALL HAIL DCD AND HIS KITCHEN!
Now here are the draw backs.....
1. We loose the touch scroll capabilities (No biggies to me). I also wonder how much that attributed to RAM usage and instability. Secondly I cant find any post anywhere saying that was actually added by Microsoft. It maybe an "addition" to the PPCKitchen basekit. I could be wrong because I honestly don't know but I have my suspicions.
2. Cant get the Diamond Dialer ported over by Pooly Duck. Not to big of a deal as the DCD Dialer flows well with the ROM.
3. Cant get the Diamond Style Comm Manager ported. Not to big of a deal as the DCD Comm Manager flows well with the ROM like the dialer.
4. Opera simply will not build into this kitchen. I just get RGU build erros but no Dupe file errors so I don't know how to resolve (yet).
5. Cant get the Audio Manager to build in either. Same errors as above.
6. This goes to the poster about the X Button being part of the problem..... Wit hthe DCD ROM as soon as touch flow loads it shuts down the DCD X button! I was shocked to see that. So I disabled TouchFlow and the damn thing came right back. I think I need a newer OEM than what DCD includes so I will experiment with the build we have been using. But i think this proves part of what the other poster was saying about the X Button. It wasnt like an app shutdown because its not an App I beleive its a service. Strange.... Anyone have any other thoughts on this?
As always thanks for the patients while I get this together. I dont think I will ask for Beta Testers this time and just open up the ROM to everyone when I release it.
Stay Tuned.... More to come shortly! Just testing a few more things, need to make sure that this kitchen pack will integrate seemlessly for everyone.

i actually installed skyfire as well and that runs without shutting down skyfire..
so as we all know.. opera is a killer on the ram for the titan and ive also had issues with landscape mode.
but for now, rom 2 is stable for me, will run it hard to put it through its paces :D

The first release I released a kitchen as well. It was for the PPC Kitchen not the DCD kitchen.
I have spent the greater of the last 6 hours trying to get the OEM pack to work with the DCD Kitchen. I did it for the most part. See my post announcing the new ROM to find out the difference.
I have only tested on DCD 3.2.6. I may or may not work on older builds.
I have tested this on a fresh kitchen and it built perfect now I am flashing. If the results are the same as the first few builds I will post it soon. It takes me about 15 minutes to get the ROM and the kitchen uploaded to my site.

i won't need another prog such as ppckitchen to build this kitchen right?
also since it's based of DCDs rom, i assume that it will include all of dcd's tweaks that he has in his rom?

The "kitchen" I am posting are just the OEM's I used to build the ROM. Drop those OEM's into the OEM folder in the DCD kitchen and build away my friend!

Awesome man, this will run the smoothest... i'm sure if u figure out the dialer and comm manager u will updated this ROM, but its niiiiiice the way it is.
ONLY thing so far (and of course this is only 30 minutes in) is that sometimes the touch or m2d freezes up on scroll bar on the bottom, like sometimes it doesn't react to my touch, and then at a second touch it reacts... different from the other two roms...
i love that you took out opera and audio manager although i haven't seen if that effects me having album art (but not that important lol)
Other than that, all seems to flow nicely and I am taking it out to the bar now, get some numbers lol and see how it works... Thank you for keeping the white theme and analog clock too!!!!!

Yeah, I noted that touch problem. It was more like a brief studder than what I woudl call a short freeze. I think it was more so I wasnt hitting the button just right. Other than that make sure you screen is spotless tha makes a huge difference in performance with any touch app (I know you know this stuff but others may not).
The Clock: Yeah, it just looks more professional. I got some plans for Round 4 that are going to blow everyone away as far as Manilla (TF2D). I plan on incorporating multiple themes so as soon as you boot the ROM you can pick what theme you want and whenever you want after that as well.
Then I was thinking about adding all the wanted apps in the ROM as the original cab so all you will have to do is open the My Documents folder and pick the apps you want. Then when you are done you can execute a batch file to delete everything or you can always just leave them there for experimentation purposes. The ROM will sorta be its own mini kitchen. Is that a bad ass idea or what?!?!?! We will see though.....
Anyways, I need to get off this forum and go to bed.
Thanks for the feedback.

You may want to read the thread in the first post I made on Page one of this thread as well as the link to the original DCD kitchen that I posted as well. There is a tutorial there that explains all of your questions except the volume control.
That I am not sure about. I don't know what it is and have never even seen it. Can you post me a link so I can check it out? I would have to say from my knowledge that you shouldn't have to re-install anything as long as you have a CAB file to install with.

Dang it! That was the only thing I didint check. Would you happen to have an OEM that could fix this? Transitioning from the PPC Kitchen to the DCD kitchen is a pain in the ass. It was only inevitable that something that was built into the PPC Kitchen was not built into the DCD Kitchen and vice-versa.
I will play around with it tonight and see what I can do.

Funny thing, I think I know why the Round 2 ROM was shutting down apps... You wont beleive what I did..... IN round 2 I added two reg tweaks out of the No2Chem kitchen that would help windows shut down apps to keep the memory clean. I THOUGHT I had that in the Round 1 ROM. I didint!!!! That was the damn difference!!!!
Well, I am set to keep this on the DCD kitchen and dont plan on returning to the PPC Kitchen. I had such a miserable experience with there downloads failing out, the updater just quiting, config file mismatches, etc. I am not saying its a bad kitchen but its just too high maintenance for me.
I should have never strayed from our mentor, DCD! I used to use his kitchens exclusively but then ventured off to the PPC Geeks Kitchen for a while. Well, I wont do that again. All my future development will be based off DCD 3.2.6 unless he comes out with something newer of course.

I want to, but I love the green bubbles that's used to highlight the number of e-mails in the e-mail section of the home tab. MBarvarian's theme uses blue blocks and buttons instead of green.
Sorry I'm anal, but I love my gadgets to be consistent...especially when it comes to color since I'm a Graphic Designer!

since there's no audio manager, for the audio widget, can we use S2P? would it work? do i just install S2P and everything would be configured?

There is a way to fix youtube. I cant say about S2P though, you can always try.
Oxious Hibernate just frees up locked memory after an application quits. Its great app to help keep the phone running smoother.

install the media player if you want to be able to use it on the m2d first.
install the wmp, youtube, fix cab second and you should be set.
you can then install opera browser and task manager and Voila.
everything else should work fine after that :) .
man I like this round 3 better. the only problem I hope doesn't creep up is that when I use the dcd 3.2.6.exe rom with touchpal the phone would dial on the first green (phone button) press, and never hang up, random but bugg happened frequently.
I think because you are using a different method to build 3.2.6 touchpal might actually work this time around. Will now soon but if not I got round 1 to go back to with touchpal. I love that touchpal app mang ...lol

I agree. These should be considered beta and I am doing this to get all the bugs out. Once we have a common ROM that everyone can agree on then I will post that. But your right this thread is growing unruly. People will post a fix for something then 4 pages later someone asks the same question again.
This will happen in every post on every board in the world. People just need to be diligent and read the posts. If you change the view from the default the thread becomes easier to follow as all my replies with major issues / notifications are a reply o the main thread. Check that out and it may be easier to follow.

i still don't get how to install this kitchen. owell.
Did you follow the links that are posted to DCD's kitchen? Here are the steps to make this work for you.....
1. Download and unzip the DCD kitchen.
2. Download my kitchen pack for round 3 and unzip it into the OEM folder of DCD's kitchen.
3. In the root of DCD's kitchen there is a batch file called BUildNB.bat. Run that and create your ROM.
Thats it. There is no installation application if that is what you are looking for / asking. If you have questions about general ROM cooking, how to use a kitchen then please read the stickies at the top of this forum. They will answer your basic kitchen questions. If then after reading all of that material you still have questions then please ask.
I hope that gets you up and running.

AS far as touchpal, I left the DCD kitchen 100% intact when I modded the OEM's so if it had issues with DCD then there is a good chance it could happen with Round 3.

Hmmm, I cant say what is going on. I can ROM you up a ROM based of DCD with the apps you like but the X BUtton is causing issues with the DCD ROM.
I cant go back to the PPC Kitchen and rebuild the first ROM. There stuff is just simply not stable from my perspective.
Also, are you soft resetting? If so does the symptom persist through a soft reset. Also can you list any apps you have added and we will just have to figure this out. IM sorry about the problems you are seeing.
This is also why when I do the next ROM Round 4 also to be known as the final ROM I plan on adding minimal apps but yet cooking them in to the ROM so the user has the choice of installation. I think that may be a good suggestion as well. It wont hurt. I admit Round 2 proved to be the most troublesome for people. Thats because I leaped before I looked. The CE OS version is seemingly more memory hungry. I cant quantify this but have a suspicion. Either way, Round 3 is based off DCD and no one is complain about shut downs (at least from my perspective).

For a $5 donation SMMS over at PPCGeeks is well worth the donation....Sprint could never come up with an app like his.....check it out....

Im workign on it a ROM without MMS. Sorry I figuired having it there was better than not. Some people cas use it and it really takes a minute amount of space.
AS far as the speed thing, I havent had time to check. One other so far is reporting that. I can assure you I did nothing at all to this kitchen when I burnt the ROM. I only added OEM's and none of them had any direct impact on the CE OS files. Maybe its a carrier level setting. Could yo go to Phone->Options->Services Tab -> mope of operation. It may not be labeled that for every carrier but it is for VZW. Try toggling the settings back and forth between the modes. Thats the best I can come up with for now.
Anyone else having speed issues. Can you please post your carrier if you are.

No predections yet but I will tell you this. I haVe about 90% of what I need for the Round 4 ROM. Its going to be a "selection based" ROM where YOU THE USER gets to pick what apps you want!.... They will all be in a special loaction on the ROM. You just go there and install what YOU want then delete when you are done.
It will have the standard look as my last ROM (Both analog and digitial clock). Hence touch flow will be installed and operation. Then you pick from there.
Im waiting on some approvals from some VIP's in this board to use there work. If they say yes great, if not, oh well it wont be a show stopper (but is a nice addition). Its still going to be a killer ROM!
With that being said and my dependency on others at this point I would say that it wont be out tonight.
Thats all I am saying for now.
Thanks again to everyone who provided feedback on the ROM. About 1,000 combined ROM downloads since grimstar made the first request.
Thanks everyone!

Try disabling S2U2. I think that may be the culprit. Cant say for sure but just a suspicion.
To stop it from starting up open File Explorer and then navigate to Windows\StartUp\
Delete the file called iLocke.exe
Soft reboot. Test again.
To undo this:
find iLocke.exe and hold click and select copy. Next navigate back to \windows\startup and select paste. Soft reboot

from my view.. this is the best.. due to each phone's idiosyncrycies.. the condition of the battery etc.. these will play a factor as well in how well the OS operates

BEYOND INVISIBLE'S XM2D WEATHER INSTALLATION
I got it to work...
1. first I installed the "XM2DWeatherGraphics.cab" from this link "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2682292&postcount=448"
2. then I used TC (Total Commander) to copy "HTCHomesettings.xml" from "Windows" folder of my Mogul to my miniSD card
3. I copied "HTCHomesettings.xml' from my miniSD to my Computer and then edited it with Notepad or Wordpad. Replace with these lines:
<Property name="IDWEWG_WEATHER_POS" id="17" value="0,25,240,205" />
<!-- <Property name="IDWEWG_WEATHERTEXT_RECT" id="38" value="0,141,240,22,15,136,290,22" /-->

<!-- <Property name="IDWEWG_SEPERATELINE_POS1" id="31" value="68,143,37,145" /-->
4. I saved the file, and then put it back into the "Windows" folder of my Mogul with TC (Total Commander).
That's it! Pretty simple and runs flawlessly!

I am using the latest official sprint rom... it works good but im ready to dabble with a rom for my mogul...
this sounds great.. user selection based!!!! CANT WAIT!!!!!!
I will be watching this one...

Which build Round 3?
Yes sir.
It's still running well, other than I had low memory pop-up this morning. Which caused touchflo and Wisbar to be forced closed. Not sure exactly what caused it.

Mixed results as long as your not running Opera. For the most part good. What are you running it on?

day 2 on rom 3 and no problems. been going hard running tcmp with high bit rate videos, xvids, flv's etc.. sweeeeet.
running skyfire and opera.. touchflo still shuts off when opera starts.. no biggie..
just something that happens.. i dont think it's something for you to worry about anymore scott. as far as im concerned its a minor.
seen that some havent been able to get beyondinvisible's weather icons working.. i have no problems..
i liked rom 2 a lot because of the com manager and nice dialer, but rom 3 is far more stable.. diggin the extra ram on boot.
mos def happy with rom 3. keep up the great week. we all appreciate.
from my view.. this is the best.. due to each phone's idiosyncrycies.. the condition of the battery etc.. these will play a factor as well in how well the OS operates
Agrred! Thanks for the detail feedback. My suspicions, as well as everyone elses were correct. DCD's Kitchen is the BOMB! I'll keep the next and final ROM based on this. Much more positive results from everyone by the fact its much less buggy.
Oh and I am working on CAB files for the comm manager and dialer for the next ROM. Its gonna be cool. I am alpha testing it now.
Thanks again!

I did all that too and I could never get the crap aligned. It just wouldn't. I think I displaced a single digit on another line. I just gave up. Maybe I will try again for the next ROM. I like they way they look.

Yes, Ive made the ROM so its a BASIC M2D ROM but has all the apps most requested by users in the ROM so they can be installed or not installed to each users satisfaction.

I am currently using build three and it seems to be running the best since the initial version. I just have one request for consideration. Is it possible to add the battery level meter to the top of the home screen? I always had that feature with the HTC Home Plug and really miss it in your M2D builds.
Thanks for your hard work.

Yes, this is almost always hit or miss for me. I dont understand why it doesnt show up. I used SPB Mobile Suite (or something) that puts one across the top like Vista Hide Batter Gage does.
Can anyone tell me how to make that show up in the DCD Kitchen?

Edit this registry setting:
HKLM\software\Microsoft\Shell
There should be a key in there called "Showtitlebarclock"
Change the value to 0 and soft-reset your phone. Should do the trick.

After some research I realized that this could potentially cause problems. I looked thru DCD's OEMs that are in the sys folder and there is specifically an OEM that sets the clock to active and not the battery. Then I examined the settings a little more and remembered a problem I had and found a post related to it on PPC Geeks. Someone told me to keep the phone pad from popping up change this setting to a zero. I did that and it resolved my problem then. Here is the for anyone who wants to read it. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=408251#post408251
For now I am testing it on my ROM. For anyone who wants to know the OEM number from DCD was 15 that I found this in.
Thanks,
Scott

YEah, thats what Im working. I will just link to the MMS files. I have the carrier cabs and all the apps all set up and staged. Threw in a bunch of today themes and ringtones. Plus the 6 or 8 M2D Themes that I tested and added ;c)
Just doing some finally testing.... A couple more hours and I hope to have the links up.
EDIT: Make that about four more hours.... A coulple last things to finish up. I also came up with a small wbesite for the new download link. Its not much now but just a way to get to the ROM and see how many hits the page has. I think that will be interesting.

Somehow during the upgrade opf the radio you may have inadvertantly knocked out some settings in your radio. Happens to all at one time or another. Completely normal. You did nothing wrong. If you call the number it directs you to they will tell you how to fix it. If you have another VZW phone in the house go to the customer service website and swap the esn's around. Do that by selcting active an old phone und the customer service numbers somewhere. After swapping wait about 2 minutes and swap back the esn's again. Select what ever plans it tells you that you need or what not. Asctivate by the phone as it direct and you will download the security infomraiton you need. If you call customer service they will have you type it in. Yeah, thats how many times I wiped my a-Key. I know the routine by heart. I remember my old phone's ESN now. I can just swap it at work if I screw something up. Hahaha.....
Next ROM is almost ready. Just about two more hours or so I would say.

I wouldn't wait. Landscape Manila2d is still in development and it should still be an option for the user to apply at their own convenience.
It'll be extra work for scott to OEM into the kitchen and ensure it doesn't interfere with the rest of the rom build.
I dont think landscape 2d is a "must include" option.
Keep up the awesome effort scott.

Ok,
Let me make one thing clear: None of this is my work! This is compilation of great works from all over the internet. If you see a screnshot that is your product please let me know so I can give appropriate credit.
Shout Outs go to:
First and Foremost
DCD, GC, and No2Chem - I learned quite a bit just by reading there posts and disecting the DCD kitchen and of course SEARCHING ;c)
But no less important
DogGuy, and Dutty (NBH Tools), All the artists that made these bad ass themes and pics that I bootlegged from all over the Internet and everyone else who made this stuff possible! Especially the guy that Made M2DC (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427392)
Ok, I have posted ROM's for all. Please download and enjoy.
I also made these ROMS using the PPC Kitchen. Please visit there site and try there kitchen then donate if you got the spare cash. Its great! http://ppckitchen.org/
Thanks for taking the time to download my work and try it out. I value all feeback but would prefer not to get my ass handed to me. Please be thoughtful ;c) It takes guts to post this sort of file to the web. I understand how important these devices are to people so I want everyone to know that I have tested the core of this ROM for over a week with no major issues. I also reboot daily (by choice)! But as always;
*USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT GOES WRONG!*
*You also need to be on Bootloader 2.40 or 2.47 with a GPS radio of 3.3x.x and higher*
If you dont have that then please read the stickes at the top of the forum main page and go tot he Titan Wiki page to learn how to get there. I cannot help you with that part, just my ROM and its functionality. Here is a great tutorial from GAMedic at PPC Geeks that will walk through the steps of setting your phone up for a custom ROM.
GAMedic Tutorial: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=33857
Im also VERY up to suggestions for additional software and possibly removing unwanted items in the rom.

Just remember M2D is a memory hog but looks sooooo good!
Thanks again! Enjoy!
Round 1 - OUTDATED but still a popular choice!
Links removed
Round 2 - TOO BUGGY I HAVE BEEN TOLD but runs fine on my phoen- NOT RECOMENDED for anything other than testing purposes- Apps shut down alot when not being used because of REg tweaks I got from No2Chem's OEMS. I like this feature, alot of people dont! This ROM has the typical issue of TouchFlow shutting down when the device is under high memory usage as reported by some users.
Links Removed
Different Skin this time (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2709784&postcount=1535), minor bug fixes. Camera version 5. Latest 20755 CE OS. Newer build of Opera 9.
Round 3 -First Round based off DCD 3.2.6
Links Removed
This ROM was rebuilt from the ground up and based off the DCD 3.2.6 Kitchen. Its missing Opera, Audio manager, the Diamond dialer and the Diamond comm manager (Most people are happy about this) and has no custom boot screens as I did not want to start tearing apart the kitchen. It seems to be the most stable so far! More free ram at boot as well. Download, enjoy and provide feedback!
It was found that YouTube is not working proper on this ROM. No other bug reports thus far.
Round 4 - Coming Soon! Alpha testing is underway. This will be a "barebones" M2D ROM that is ready to run on first boot. It will include the CAB files that are needed to custoimize it to the way you want. I have added extra themes for M2D, the latest customizer, and all the M2D apps that people have asked for.
And I was just asked to post this by a user. If you like the ROM you are using and have a some spare change then by all means..... Otherwise donations are not mandatory to download, use, and get support of my ROM!
